Elio sat for a while to think about everything. Without a soothsayer, he knew that the promise of releasing Jessie and Melissa was only a lie to get him to fall into their trap. He could tell that they have no plans whatsoever to exchange anything. He was still finding it hard to accept that Melisa was truly kidnapped and her phone taken from her. He took his phone and logged in on Instagram to see the last time she made a post.
He noticed that her last post was the night before and that was when she posted what she had for dinner. There had been nothing since then and that explained a lot. Usually, Melissa would have posted her outfit for today, her breakfast pictures, and the plans she had for that day but instead, Elio was staring at her page that looked so dry compared to usual.
