Elio chuckled. She didn't even stand a chance of getting him back whether or not she got under the sheets with his brother. But he was glad that he had that information, it was going to serve as a strong point to tell her off.
"I'm sure she must have gone home to her dad, Jessie. Don't bother your head too much." Elio tried to calm him down.
"That's the problem, Elio! She is not home. I just called uncle Ricky and he said she hasn't been home since he left her at your place. He's tried to reach her as I have and she's refusing to take either of our calls. I'm scared."
Jessie had always been the scared one. Even though he had put up a bold front but the brothers knew who was the scaredy-cat and who wasn't.
He was sure Melissa had gone to one of her friends to think of a lie she could use to get him back or she had stopped at a bar to ease her mind, but he knew better than to say it to Jessie's hearing else he'd have his head.
