Elio knew she had lots of questions in her mind and he hated the fact that he couldn't provide answers to them at the time. He had only shut her up with his eyes or not even bothered at all. It was better than lying to her.
He had made sure that Alfred had come to pick them up because he wanted to ensure that no one sold them out, even though he was in a disguise.
A disguise that had him sweating profusely, he couldn't wait to be in his own private space to take them off. The last time he sweated as much as he did was months ago when his leg was still fit enough for him to visit the gym.
It felt good visiting one of his businesses after a long time. He hated that he had stayed away for that long but he had no choice.
