"Have you tried to track down the watch again? That should give us a clue about where Elio is." Hacker suggested, afraid to look up in the eyes of his boss. Instead, he stared at his Tim Black shoes which looked well polished and blended well with the darkness in the room.
"Yes! We have! But what? Your boys came back to tell me nonsense about how the farmland where the watch was found was for a random family. According to them the boy had seen it at the bar and took it home." Jose said.
Hacker was trying hard to figure out if his boss was really angry because even though his voice was harsh as usual, he was not sure he noticed any sign of anger. The room was too dark for him to read the facial expressions either.
"I have an idea, boss. I hope that you do not mind." Hacker said after an unsettling silence filled the air for a while.
