"What are you thinking about?" Rosa's voice snapped her out of her imagination.
"Nothing serious. Don't worry about me." Dahlia said, embarrassed. She wondered why Rosa would not just mind her business.
"I am not worried about you a bit because that was a smile of happiness, not sadness. I'm glad you are happy. " Rosa added.
Dahlia chided herself for thinking badly about Rosa when the old lady is only trying to help.
She wanted to apologize out loud but she considered the fact that she would have to explain to Rosa why he was apologizing so instead she kept her apology to herself, took her phone, and left the room while ensuring that the smile on her face remained plastered there.
She found her way from there to Doctor Jeff's office. With a gentle tap on the door, she waited to hear a go-ahead from inside before she opened the door.
"You may come in." Doctor Jeff came from inside.
