" Hey." She called out to him.
"Hi, nurse. How Have you been? "The young boy who is in his late teens answered.
"I am good. it is great to see you again. Also, congratulations on winning the player of the year at the nations basketball games. I am sure your mum would be so proud of you." Dahlia said.
"Thank you so much. Speaking of my mum, how is she doing now?" the boy asked.
Since the news of his mum's recovery is supposed to be a surprise, Dahlia knew that she can't offer any information at that moment without spilling the bean.
"I just left her room. You should check on her to find out." She pointed towards the room.
Dahlia did her best to keep a neutral face as she said this so as not to give any information away. The boy's shoulder slumped as he nodded and walked towards his mum's ward. Dahlia would have felt bad if she didn't know that there was good news waiting for him in the room.
