His parents were watching the news when this was aired. At first, they did not recognize him because Jett have been avoiding them in the house and they did not know that he had allowed his hair to overgrow. The realization came when his name was mentioned and there was a zoom on his face. his parents were shocked to see their son on TV. They listened carefully to the interview and were moved to tears too. They wanted to go and knock on his room door to see him but they were guided against it.
Jett, completely oblivious of the interview being aired went to school the next day as usual but now, he noticed that a lot of eyes were on him as he walked down the school corridor. He ignored it and went to the Laboratory where he intends to spend the rest of the day. Although his attendance in class was not consistent, he was still acing his tests so he saw no need to attend more classes. He only went when they have a clinical practice.
