Dominic wondered what he would have ever done without Ricky. They always said that there are no loyalties between dishonest men and while it was true, that fact never came to pass between him and Ricky. The man had stood by him when he had nothing at all and it had just been the two of them. While Dominic smuggled in the drugs, Ricky would supply them to their customers. It had even been Ricky's idea to start the C&C production to minimize the chance of being caught. The man had stayed through the thick and thin. Now, the business was more than successful. Just recently, Dominic had told the man they could be partners but he had refused, telling Dominic he was happy to just be by his side, supporting him.
Another loud honk sounded at the driveway and Dominic looked up, this time to see the twenty-six years old Jessie drive-in. Once he was well parked, he got down and walked towards them, whistling all the way.
