Chapter 6 - Episode 6

"what?"

Rosé quickly turned her head. He looked at Felix as if asking what he ate wrong.

Adrian, on the other hand, looked at Felix with a surprised expression and then smiled slightly.

'I thought so.'

Adrian's smile seemed to say so.

And Felix could feel the gaze of Lucy Keenan, who was looking at him with a face as surprised as Rosé.

"What kind of trick is it?"

Rosé asked with suspicious eyes. Needless to say, Felix had never once expressed interest in Rosé.

Even when Rosé expressed his affection for him first, he was consistent with a sarcastic attitude. Then, when he suddenly applied for a partner to her, she looked suspicious of something.

Meanwhile, Felix was very angry at himself for saying it out again impulsively.

Lucy Keenan's stifling and passive behavior was too exaggerated for a moment's excitement, and no one doubted that it was to express that he had no interest in her at all.

However, there is no way to collect water that has already been spilled. Felix answered after giving Adrian a glance, who was watching the situation with interest.

"It's a craft. It's because I feel sorry for you for teasing Adrian."

"I don't really want to go with you."

Rosé didn't react very positively because of her experience of being rejected by Felix several times in the past.

"You have the same face anyway, so it doesn't matter if you go with me, right?"

Felix jumped up from his seat and gently pushed Rosé out the door and said.

"So let's leave my poor little brother alone."

Felix glanced at Lucy once before leaving the library with her.

Lucy stood with her mouth wide open, looking at him and Rosé with blank eyes.

I've been helping this far, so please do your best, Lucy Keenan.

Felix thought as he closed the door.

The result of impulsively choosing to help Lucy Keenan with her unrequited love was disastrous.

Rosé accepted Felix's partner application and promised not to bother Adrian any more, but instead asked him if he could dance to 'Ebelosa's Dance'.

Also, she didn't just want to be escorted by Confucius Berg.

"After the presentation, there will be a small party and a ball. If I dance with you in the middle of the hall, won't it at least be featured in the capital newspaper? If it became known that I was a partner of Confucius Berg, my name would become even more famous."

"You want to dance the Evelosa dance in that narrow hall? with me?"

There were many very passionate and obscene movements in Ebelosa's dances. If it was danced at the ball after a poetry recital, it was the perfect dance to remain in the history of the Xenomium Academy and be talked about over and over again.

Felix worked hard to convince Rosé, who would hardly give up. In the end, Rosé took a step back and promised not to force her to dance, and returned to find out about a more elegant and formal dance. Felix looked at her back and let out a long sigh. No matter how much he thought about it, he seemed to have done something stupid.

It was in the dorm room on the evening after all the events were over that I was able to talk to Adrian again.

"So you… … ."

"Yes, you… … ."

As soon as they met, the two spoke at the same time.

"Tell me first."

Felix said as he sat down on the bed.

"How about with Rosé?"

Adrian asked with a smile. It seems like he misunderstood Felix's feelings for Rosé.

"what."

"Literary night."

"We decided to go together."

Adrian whistled at Felix's words.

"Good job."

"It's not like that."

Looking at Adrian's expression, it didn't seem like Felix would believe him no matter how much he explained it.

"So, you… … ?"

Felix gave up on clearing up the misunderstanding and asked Adrian.

"What am I?"

"Who are you going with, so!"

Felix was irritable as if he was frustrated.

"You said This time, I am only going to faithfully look at society."

"what?"

Felix turned into a face with a frown.

Stuffy Lucy Keenan! In the end, I couldn't even get the words out!

Because of me, I might even dance with Rosé!

Felix, lying on the bed with a bewildered face, ruffled his blonde hair with both hands.

"Why all of a sudden?"

Adrian's absurd voice was heard. But Felix, unable to explain his behavior, continued to rip my hair out.

i knew i would

He's like a frustrated Lucy Keenan, who likes his face so recognizable as a ghost but can't even ask him to go to an event with him.

Literature night.

Stars were shining in the clear, cloudless sky. The crowing of grasshoppers could be heard nonstop from the flower bed.

In front of the girls' dormitory, neatly dressed male students stood impatiently. Soon, girls in fluttering dresses came down the stairs to find their partners.

A little away from them, Felix was also waiting for his partner.

Unusually, his blonde hair, which was neatly turned over, was shining particularly beautifully under the night sky.

In addition, the suit that fit the body was clearly larger than the other male students and subtly revealed a slender and muscular body.

Some female students glanced at him without their partners knowing. Felix had already noticed that fact, but he didn't express it at all.

It was just dissatisfying and annoying that he was caught in this chaotic chasm.

How did things turn out like this?

If you regret it, it's already too late. He had to escort Rosé Millard out of nowhere, and he prayed inwardly that nothing would happen in which he had to dance passionately with her in the middle of the hall.

Anyway, why aren't you here?

He let out a short sigh and looked up the stairs.

A girl in a pale beige white dress appeared out the door. The dress, which went down to her ankles, looked unpretentious except for the butterfly pattern embroidered around her neck with gold thread.

The frills and all sorts of decorations were just right to be buried compared to the other girls' outfits, but Felix couldn't take his eyes off of it for some reason.

Lucy, who had her light brown hair, which she usually wore in a back braid, naturally unraveled below her shoulders, carefully descended the stairs, clutching the hem of her dress. Walking with an awkward posture looked awkward, as if taking the first step.

Lucy, who suddenly turned to Felix, made eye contact with him and was startled. She looked around in bewilderment, then hurried to a male student beckoning to her.

Felix straightened his crooked posture. He narrowed his eyes and glanced at the boy who was smiling brightly at Lucy.

He was about the same height as Lucy, and his face was a dwarf boy who looked so young that he couldn't believe he had entered the academy.

Lucy burst out laughing for a moment, as if the boy was joking. Then, an unknown male student gently grabbed the outstretched arm.

Felix looked at the scene and raised one eyebrow.

what is that

Lucy Keenan, who was escorted by some other boy, was simply baffled by the topic that Adrian couldn't even say to go with him.

At that moment, someone gently placed a hand on Felix's shoulder. Turning around, Rosé was standing there.

She was wearing a white, full-breasted dress that resembled a swan. With her hair gracefully curled up and feathered in, she looked like a real swan.

The students who were standing there looked at the beautiful figure of Rose with their captivated eyes.

"Felix."

Rosé, who called his name gracefully and naturally folded her arms, seemed to be very satisfied with their gaze and interest.

"Why are you so late?"

When Felix asked with a crooked face, Rosé gave a cold, bitter look.

"Can't you see me now? All this is the result of investing time. And if you make my investment in vain, I won't let it go. Smile."

Then, Rosé changed her expression in an instant enough to give her a chill and flew around with a seductive smile.

Seeing Rosé like that, Felix shook his head. Soon he began to escort his partner to the library hall.

A few steps away, Lucy could be seen walking with the polite boy. She kept creaking as if she was wearing high heels for the first time.

It looked like a child who had sneaked out of her mother's shoes, and Felix laughed involuntarily.

"What, are you kidding me?"

Rosé poked him with her elbow.

"what?"

"Is it funny that the damn newspaper put my name wrong? You just laughed."

she asked with an annoyed face.

She was always talking about a dance competition hosted by the Academy last semester. She won the competition, but was humiliated when a sloppy newspaper called Bern Daley used the wrong name.

It must have been very unfair to Rosé, but it was not a topic of interest to Felix now.

He was now more interested in what the couple walking in the front was talking about than the insignificant mistake of reporter Berne Daily.
