Chapter 9 - Episode 9

rumble!

As Felix finished speaking, the warehouse door opened wide. Three people appeared at the door.

It was Adrian, Mr. Peter, who was in charge of literature, and Colin Connor, who had an ear for Peter.

"Ouch!"

Colin frowned and screamed.

"What happen?"

Felix asked them with a puzzled face.

"Well, this guy has been hiding alcohol in secret!"

Sensei Peter answered, stretching out one of Colin's ears. With a terrifying expression on his face, he waved the bottle he had confiscated from Colin in the air.

Adrian also scolded him harshly.

"Colin Connor! Bringing alcohol into a wholesome arts and cultural event is a very good thing. Thanks to you, the night of literature has become more mature, what kind of award should I give?"

"I just brought it here to unwind before the poetry recital! Leave this to me, Peter!"

"Relax?"

Sensei Peter pulled Colin's ear even harder.

"Aww!"

"If you want to relax, you can take a deep breath, so why bring such an alcoholic drink?"

"Really! I was too nervous to go up on stage, so I just dipped my tongue and took it out!"

Even with Colin's explanation, Peter and Adrian didn't seem to believe it at all.

"Are you going to keep talking nonsense? I can't believe that this incident would have to be a hundred pages of reflection!"

"Aww!"

Seeing Colin screaming once more, Adrian sighed.

Turning his head towards Felix, he soon found Lucy sleeping soundly, leaning on his brother's shoulder.

"Lucy?"

Adrian came over and gently shook Lucy's shoulder. Lucy didn't even move.

"The smell of alcohol! Maybe you drank too?"

After hearing Adrian's words, Sensei Peter questioned Colin.

"what! Did you drink Lucy?"

"Ugh! I didn't know it would take that far... … . I'm too shy to dance, so don't be nervous! Just one sip! I mixed it with the juice… … aww! Sir Peter! My ears are off!"

"Colin Connor! You must be really pissed off. Follow me to my office right now."

"Aww!"

In the end, Colin was dragged out of the warehouse with Peter holding his ear.

"ha. I can't live."

Adrian touched his forehead as he heard Colin's screams moving away.

"What are you going to do?"

Felix said while looking at Lucy sleeping.

"I think I should take you to my room right now."

"What if? I have to stay and wrap up the event... … ."

Adrian muttered with a troubled face and said to Felix.

"Can you take Lucy to the dorm?"

near midnight.

The road back to the dormitory was dark and quiet.

Felix followed the path dimly lit by the moon and dazzling stars in the night sky. Carrying Lucy, who was sleeping soundly, on her back.

He could feel Lucy's body temperature on his back and Lucy's breath in his ear.

The boy he was busy avoiding when he saw me was now sitting on his back with a calm and very calm face.

It was so crazy.

And it was fun at the same time.

This is a hundred years' worth of teasing. I'll have to give you a little goosebumps when I wake up later.

He smiled, imagining Lucy's face, who must have been embarrassed.

"Ugh… … ."

At that moment, Lucy slowly wriggled her body. He blinked his eyes with a hazy expression as if he had not yet fully recovered from his intoxication, and then muttered with a twisted tongue.

"Elder… … ."

Every time Lucy opened her mouth, the smell of alcohol hit her.

"… … Elder… … ."

Suddenly, Lucy lifted her droopy arm and placed it on Felix's head. Her hand gently and gently stroked his hair once.

"What, what?"

Felix stood tall in his seat. But Lucy, drunk, didn't seem to know what she was doing.

"… … I've been wanting to touch it for a while... … Senior blonde... … ."

Lucy shoved her hand into Felix's hair and brushed it gently. I could feel the warmth of the fingertips touching the scalp vividly.

"… … uh... … Also soft... … ."

Felix felt all his hair stand on his feet as a chilling shiver wrapped around his body.

Lucy, who had been muttering something incomprehensible, became quiet again. The hand that was ripping through Felix's hair quickly fell down.

"under… … ."

Felix barely let out a breath he had been holding back.

My heart, which I thought had stopped for a moment, started beating like crazy.

midday classroom.

As soon as class was over, the room became noisy with a loud roar. There was a sound of chairs being dragged here and there, and the students ran out of the classroom at once.

In the midst of the commotion, there was a man sitting alone at his desk and staring blankly at the blackboard.

Adrian, who was about to pack up his bag due to a busy student council, looked at Felix with a worried face, who didn't want to get up.

"Hey, Felix."

He shook his shoulder slightly, and Felix, who came to his senses, slowly raised his gaze.

"Why are you here all day? Where are you losing your mind?"

"Ah… … ."

Felix could not act quickly despite Adrian's worrying words, and slowly picked up his bag.

Watching him walk out the back door in awe, Adrian looked at him as if he didn't understand the English language.

Felix's abnormal behavior did not end there.

A first-year student coming out of the next classroom didn't find him and bumped into him.

"I'm sorry, Berg-senpai!"

The contemplative freshman bowed repeatedly and apologized to Felix. But he smirked while accepting the apology and waved his hand as if to just leave. His eyes were still staring into the air.

Adrian's face, watching the scene from behind, grew even more concerned.

"Why are you doing that?"

Unheard of his murmur, Felix trudged down the hallway. His mind was empty, and he had no thoughts. His appearance as he walked around in a muffled way was like a zombie in a ghost story.

It was when he passed in front of an empty classroom. A hand that came out of nowhere grabbed him by the collar and dragged him into the empty classroom.

Felix was awakened by the sudden touch. In front of him stood Rosé Millard, her eyes wide open with an expression of anger.

Ah, right. Rosé.

Felix closed his eyes tightly and then opened the memory that came to his mind.

After returning to the dorm room last night, he had been completely absorbed in his mind, so he had completely forgotten about Rosé.

"Hey you… … ."

She approached slowly with a terrifying face. His eyes blazed with anger, his teeth exposed and growling almost seemed like the incarnation of vengeance that had just risen from hell.

Felix swallowed his saliva and tried to improvise.

"Oh sorry. I am not Felix."

A cruel smile appeared on Rose's face.

"Ah, yes? The Berg I met earlier said the same thing."

Her smile grew more and more creepy.

"What if I say no to both? Shall I just kill them both?"

Felix raised his hands as if surrendering to the words that didn't sound like a joke at all, and confessed.

"Sorry, I misunderstood for a moment. I'm Felix."

"Are you kidding me?"

Rosé immediately fired at Felix with a chirping voice.

"You dare leave me alone and go alone? Do you know how embarrassed I was when you disappeared without a word?"

"I'm really sorry. I apologize. But yesterday, something unexpected happened and I had no choice but to do it."

"What is the unexpected? What could be more important than escorting me!"

Rosé revealed this and growled. I've never seen him so angry.

To tell the truth, even Lucy Keenan seemed to be on fire.

"Ugh, I just had to go back all of a sudden. Just know that I didn't mean to embarrass you on purpose."

Having said that, Felix held out one cheek to Rosé.

"Would you like to hit me?"

Rosé looked at him with puzzled eyes. 'What kind of children do you have?' it was the eyes Felix offered one more condition to her lukewarm reaction.

"Would you like to hit me over there?"

He said, pointing to the campus where the students were sitting through the window.

"Won't there be more interviews with 'the girl who slapped Confucius' in the cheek' than 'the girl who was escorted by Confucius Berg'?"

At Felix's words, Rosé rolled her eyes for a moment as if she was cold. But then he spit it out with a cold face.

"Are you crazy? You made a handprint on the Duke's son's face, then what do you hear?"

Rosé stood with her arms crossed and looked at Felix. His sad blue eyes were still there, but his anger had subsided a little compared to before when he shot him with a scary face.

"Okay, you owe me for this. I'm never going to just skip it. I will pay this debt somehow, so be prepared."

With those words, Rosé turned around. Surprisingly, Felix took a breath as he watched her back away.

She suddenly turned around and kicked Felix's ankle.

Felix groaned at the unexpected blow and grabbed his ankle.

"Ugh."

"This is interest."

Rosé kicked out the classroom after shooting Felix one last time.
