[A/N: Some of you may have noticed the missing updates these past few days. The reason for that is simple, as I decided to update my stories only every few weeks from now on. This is so that I have enough content on my p@treon. I will eventually upload my complete stories here or on FF.net, but it may take some time.
Also for those that are looking to Game of Thrones FF, I have released one on FF.net, so I suggest you look that up, maybe you enjoy it.
Anyway, that was all from me. Enjoy!]
[Grand Line, Rusukaina Island, Kaienreki Calendar 1508, End of January]
Nearly two years had passed since they came to Rusukaina Island and while they had spent most of that time quietly training, the outside hadn't stopped changing.
Through the News Coo, Lupin and Ina had received information that over this span of time several events – big and small – took place.
For one it seemed that some king had been turned into an Okama by Emperor Ivankov while visiting Momoiro Island. This had caused a huge stir in the political field and the king's heir had even lost his noble title, being forced into piracy.
This didn't interest Lupin much, but Ina seemed very intrigued by the event.
The fact that the Sun Pirates had been established already caught his attention though. They had clashed several times with the Marines and had to leave behind their ship in escape. It seemed as if the World Government was desperate to destroy the crew of former slaves after the events on Mary Geoise.
Lupin didn't bother himself much with their fate, as they were responsible for their own life and actions.
There were also big changes in the Marines. Sengoku had officially been named Fleet Admiral, while Kuzan had been given the moniker 'Aokiji' and made an Admiral.
The third Admiral's position had also been filled, though obviously unlike the original timeline where Sakazuki had been named Akainu and made an Admiral, this time around someone else had taken the position, someone Lupin didn't remember from the the show at all.
His moniker was Dokame and from what Lupin could gather in the newspaper, he had been a very famous bounty hunter in the New World more than a decade ago, before vanishing without a trace.
It seemed that the World Government had recruited him at that time and had now been forced to reveal that particular hidden card after the disaster on Sabaody.
Big Mom and Kaidou had also been declared Emperor's of the Sea, after countless clashes with other New World bigshots, which they managed to win. With that three Emperors had been named and Lupin knew that it would be a few years, before another one, namely Shanks, will be titled Emperor by the World Government.
Aside form these pieces of intel nothing else roused Lupin's curiosity.
Still, the last two years had been very fruitful, as his strength had made another major step forward.
He had managed to perfect his use of Rokuogan and even finished the new technique he had been working on.
It was called Shockwave Step, a technique that combined his mastery of Rokuogan, Emission, Blue Walk and Kamisoru to make a high speed movement technique by using perfectly timed shockwaves to accelerate.
The control and focus necessary for the technique was almost ungodly, stretching the limits of what even he could do. On the other hand, the power behind it was equally shocking and greatly surpassed his initial estimate.
Due to the incredibly high requirements the technique had on body control, Observation Haki, mental focus and spiritual energy control it proved to be a good way for Lupin to train this attributes.
Ina herself had also managed to make great progress in this timespan.
She had gained full control over her devil fruit powers after using them excessively in battles against him or the local beasts.
Her animal form looked like a completely black Fire Salamander and could easily fit in Lupin's palm. And while it looked small and very cute, it was an absolutely deadly creature.
By using her flame propulsion, she could basically shoot jets of highly concentrated fire from her limbs and transform herself into a scalding and lethal projectile.
In her hybrid form, her normal body-size didn't change though, while black serpentine scales appeared on her transformed legs and arms, which had been turned into clawed salamander limbs. At will, fire would erupt between her scales giving her the ability to fly through propulsion in her hybrid form.
She could still use her flames in her human form, though their strength would significantly weaken.
Another interesting fact about her devil fruit power was that, due to her basically being a mythical spirit of fire, Ina was practically immune to everything related to this same element.
Even Sakazuki's Magma powers would have been useless against her, as Fire Elementals are known to live in volcanos themselves, bathing in magma regularly.
Her Rokushiki had made equally great progress thanks to the boost in bodily strength the fruit had given her and her persistent training of the martial arts. Combining Soru and Geppo, she finally gained some mastery of Kamisoru, boosting her combat power and movement ability greatly.
The other Rokushiki techniques had also been trained to a great degree, while she did her resistance training with the seastone cuffs. At first it had been hard for Ina to even move, but slowly she regained some mobility and combat power.
Fighting while begin so disadvantaged, she was forced to squeeze out her whole potential, which greatly increased her body control and allowed her to gain a basic mastery over Haki.
All in all, her own combat power now sat comfortably at the level of a mid/high-level Vice Admiral, though she still had a lot of room left to grow.
Lupin had also managed to temper his newly gained wings to the same standard as the rest of his body in this span of time, while solving the flaws in his fighting style due to his center of gravity having changed and his balance being affected.
It was at this point that they had decided to leave Rusukaina and start traveling the world, do some exploring and sightseeing. Their training would continue, but the intensity lowered slightly.
Due to this a period of leisure and relaxation began for the two of them.

[Grand Line, Arabasta Kingdom, Kaienreki Calendar 1512, September]
For three years Ina and Lupin wandered the Grand Line, visiting dozens of islands and kingdoms. Sometimes they stayed for a few months and sometimes only for days.
He was now 17 years old, while his body shape and face looked closer to someone around 22. Ina herself was ten years older then he, though she looked a few years younger.
Lupin's height hadn't increased any longer, as he still was around 190 cm tall, while Ina also remained at the height of 175 cm.
Currently they were having a sparring match.
*FWOOSH*
Evading the flaming claws aiming at his face with ease, Lupin did the same for the next two dozen strikes Ina sent at him.
Instead of going on the offense, he watched the black-haired beauty attack him fiercely, while his eyes roamed her form.
It was something he found himself doing quite often recently and it was moments like these where he was very thankful to have perfect control over his physical body or he may have fallen into an embarrassing situation many times by now.
Ina's voluptuous figure flashed around him, as she wore nothing but a small bikini that did absolutely nothing to hide her gorgeous figure.
The fine scales didn't only cover her limbs, but small patches of them could be seen on her face, back, abdomen and even in the valley between her breasts. It gave her an exotic and wild look.
A fine layer of sweat made her slightly tanned skin glimmer in the midday sun and her eyes gave him a look that seemed to drive his inner wolf crazy.
Lupin suddenly smelled something sweet akin to strawberries, but distinctly different, causing his nostrils to flare up like a wolf having caught a whiff of its prey.
As if he had reached a breaking point, Lupin abruptly came to a stop and let the next attack of Ina's claws hit his chest. Considering the durability of his physical body, her claws didn't even manage to split open Lupin's skin though.
"Wha-", shocked, Ina was about to ask what happened.
Though before she had the chance to do so, strong hands gripped her wrists and forced her arms behind her back.
The next moment soft lips met her own, cutting off her words. And as an eager tongue invaded the cavity of her mouth, even her thoughts came to a halt and her transformation receded moments later.
Lupin's strong frame pressed against her front, Ina practically melted in his embrace, offering herself up to the hungry wolf.
It may have been sudden, but Ina had long since known that Lupin was the only one she wanted to be with. The past few years, they had become even closer than they had been before, but there had always been something missing. Something akin to a spark.
And now that they had found it, that spark rapidly turned into a raging flame.
Letting go of her hands, Lupin grabbed Ina by her perky behind and lifted her up, while she didn't hesitate to wrap her toned legs around his midsection.
With a single use of Kamisoru, they were back at their temporary camp on the eastern shore of the Arabasta Kingdom without having stopped their passionate kiss for a even a moment.
Lupin laid Ina down on her back on top of a previously laid out blanket, as they finally broke their kiss.
No words were exchanged as they looked into each others eyes. Love, trust and desire shining in both pairs – blue and green.
They kept eye contact even as Lupin's hands moved from Ina's hips upwards. His hands grabbed onto her bikini top and simply ripped it from her deliciously inviting flesh.
He lowered his head slowly, while his hands caressed the sides of her breasts. Her own hands laying on his upper arms, as her nails dug into his steel-like muscles in a clear sign of need.
Her breathing was hurried, while she watched with rapt attention and incredible arousal as Lupin's lips closed around the areola of her left breast. The fingers of his right hand pinching the other one, while his palms gently kneaded the exposed parts of her mounds.
Soft sultry moans were escaping her as Lupin's ministrations sent shocks of pleasure to her core. Ina's legs tensing, as she pressed her lower body into Lupin's.
Lupin didn't let up, as he feasted on her succulent flesh, drawing moan after moan from Ina, while pressing into her core with his cloth-clad member, until finally in a glorious display of beauty and sensuality Ina's pleasure reached its peak.
Her back arched, while her hands were buried in Lupin's hair, pressing his head into her chest, as the waves of pleasure rolled over her undulating body and a long drawn-out moan escaped her lips.
Ina's chest was still rising rapidly, as Lupin lifted his upper body and with a simple tug ripped the rest of both their clothes off their bodies.
The moist slit between Ina's legs was his goal, as he positioned his member at her opening and with one powerful thrust buried himself in her warm cave completely.
The sudden penetration was too much for his lover though, as she – with a scream accompanying her – climaxed again.
While Ina was still riding the aftershocks of her second orgasm, Lupin captured her lips and began to drive himself into her with deep thrusts.
Ina's nails digging into his back the next moment and her legs that once again drew him towards her, showed him how much she enjoyed it – how much she wanted him.
It didn't take more than a few minutes, before Lupin felt his own climax approaching and in response pushed his member as deep into Ina's sex as he could, before filling her with his seed.
The contracting muscles of her lower body, informed Lupin that Ina had joined him in climaxing, though the way she screamed in pleasure was already indicator enough.
They didn't stop there though, as neither of them could seem to get enough of the other. Pleasuring each other for several hours, as their superhuman stamina proved to be incredibly useful.
When finally their passion started to cool down somewhat, Ina looked up from her place on top of Lupin, as she addressed him quietly.
"Took you long enough to make me yours..."
Using his hands to brush over her bare back, causing a pleasant shiver to pass through her, Lupin smiled without giving an answer.
…
Some time later, after they had taken a short bath together in the small vessel they had bought for their journey and were just enjoying the cool evening breeze that passed by, a News Coo delivered some paper with news that surprised Lupin.
Lying in a hammock together on board of their ship, Lupin read the front page article with interest.
"Sun Pirates destroyed by new Admiral … former slave Fisher Tiger dead … Most of the crew fled, while several dozen were captured … You knew him?", Ina asked, after giving the article a cursory glance.
"I freed him, when I attacked Mary Geoise. He was an honorable man, said he owed me a favour for saving him … *Sigh*, being a pirate is a dangerous occupation if you are a weak. He should have just tried to live out the rest of his life in peace.", Lupin answered her with a nostalgic tone.
He knew that this would happen sooner or later, as the World Government simply couldn't ignore the loss of reputation the Sun Pirates represented to them.
Freed slaves openly opposing the Marines. Openly opposing the World Government's rule. They were practically inviting disaster to strike them.
If things would still go according to his knowledge of the time line, then Jinbei would become one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea in a few years time and Arlong would be freed from Impel Down. Afterwards the cowardly Fishman would hide in the weakest sea and terrorize Lupin's former home.
Though Lupin wasn't sure if that would still happen, he prepared to keep an eye out for news about the Seven Warlords.
A few other interesting things should have also happened in the last few years, if he remembered correctly, like the birth of Princess Shirahoshi who inherited the ability Poseidon.
Lupin had also read about some news from the North Blue. It seemed that Trafalgar Law had gotten his hand on the Ope Ope No MI, as he had read about the clash between the Donquixote Pirates and the Marines.
Even here on Arabasta things had started to change according to the original time line. Crocodile had arrived a few years ago and killed a lot of pirates, which caused him to be worshipped by the local population.
Still, Lupin didn't concern himself much with all these. Running around playing hero, he would leave that for others.
As long as nothing happened to those he cared about, he wouldn't interfere in worldly affairs. Killing one tyrant wouldn't change a thing, a new power-hungry lunatic would replace him soon enough.
The human heart was a breeding ground for sin and evil, there was no end to ambitious people in the world.
Lupin could only take responsibility for his own actions and see to it that he didn't bring more darkness into this world.
