Chapter 1 - CH. 01

Ring Ring Ring

I awake to the sound of My Alarm as Usual.

I open my eyes and look at the Ceiling for a Moment, then I proceeded to turn of the Alarm.

I got up and headed to the bathroom to bathe, after my bath I got dressed and put on My School Uniform.

Once I got dressed, I headed to the kitchen to began boiling some water for some Instant Noodles. The sounds of the city were all around me, to sounds to some are calming though I would disagree.

After a few hours.

I began to head out for school as usual just like everyone else, or maybe not.

I look at the buildings and the crowds around me and I felt
numb.

Suddenly, I saw a woman begin to faint and fell to the ground, though everyone else around her just continued walking.

Why were people ignoring her?!

If everyone was just ignoring her, was I expected to do the same??

Is the life of someone else not valuable or precious at all?!

Is people around have consciousness. Why people around were being apathetic and act like nothing happened. Are they just robots programmed to be only do a thing and nothing else?

No matter it is important to do or not.

They just walk aimlessly like zombies, walked by desire of something with no reason and thinking the other or itself.

How cruel.

If it's so, should I help her? Even if everyone else won't
?

I take my phone out of my pocket and call 911 for an Ambulance. While I was waiting for the Paramedics to arrive, I took her to a safe place.

When the Ambulance arrived, they take her onboard, I wanted to leave and continue my day though, one of The Paramedics approached me and asked me to stay with her, until her family arrives. I didn't try to argue, not did I agree, I just entered the Ambulance as well.

I waited with her for a couple of hours, "Is this why people was ignoring her? Cause it would to troublesome?" I thought myself. However, Isn't it right to help other in need, especially in this case.

It doesn't matter if you get any benefits or not, it should not be that difficult to help someone else.

It makes perfect sense to me.

We only do something that benefit us.

...

But even so, should I just ignore her like the other?

I was sitting there puzzles and confused as can be, I began to feel parched and wanted something to drink.

...

It was already noon and still no one showed up yet. Is her family really on their way?

While I was waiting, A nurse walked up to me letting me know that the Woman and came to and that she requested to see me.

"Alright", I replied.

She looked Once I entered the room, I approached her while standing next to the up at me and spoke.

"Thank you so much for helping me, I'm so Thankful!" she exclaimed.

"Oh
Of Course" I replied while looking down.

"I'm so sorry if I was a bother or ruined your day, I really am sorry, though all I can do for now is Apologize and Thank you".

"She was saying a lot and I was wondering why she was apologizing. Did she feel like a burden?" I though to myself.

"
" I wanted to say something else though I couldn't the words.

"Hmm?" she tilted her head and looked at me with a puzzled expression.

"Oh! Uh
it's nothing
" I said while staring down at the checkered colored floor.

"O..kay" I said quietly.

"Oh, well anyway, my name is Anna. May I ask for your name?" she asked kindly.

"I would like to ask you something, How come you keep looking down, Are you feeling unwell?" she asked.

"It's Ok" she said as she reached out and patted my head, then she pulled me into a hug.

"Your such a kind young boy". She said softly.

For a moment, she hugged me and patted my head like a mother would to her own child. And I didn't dislike it, not because I like being hugged though, I can't really say, I just let her and I felt somewhat calm.

"Well, Thank you for letting me Hug you as my own way of Thanking You as laughed.well I'm glad you didn't feel awkward" she smiled kindly.

"...". I grinned slightly as I stood next to her, feeling calm and content being by her side.
