Samantha didn't know whether to laugh or cry out of nerves.
It had been pure luck sneaking in through a back door while the building was receiving food deliveries.
It had been late afternoon and Sam, having already checked her step-father's phone, managed to snag his entrance card.
It was hard, getting to his phone.
He always meticulously had it in his back pocket, or in the safe in his study.
Unfortunately, just guessing the password would never work. She set up a teddy bear camera.
The kind that parents use to check on their babies now and again.
It took a few times.
The first time it was on the bookshelf across from it. The image was too blurry, too far away.
The second time was from the ceiling. Her step-father's head blocked the view of the keypad.
The third, it was on his desk, hiding in the desk calender. It was the wrong angle.
But, you know what they say, right?
Fourth time's the charm!
She stashed it in his jacket. Risky? Yes.But worth it.
She sneaked out of her room to check the necessary files. Decided that while she was at it, she may as well sneak into his wallet.
That was yesterday.
Now, in her off shoulder back pack, she had a hardrive of company secret confidential information pleading to help them cause chaos.
She paused on the busy street, suddenly coming to a realisation:
Francis would skewer her once she found out.
Oh, well.
At least a bit of the plan was now on the go.
