Chapter 10 - Chapter 8

The plan was now in action.

Everything was precise; Blake couldn't be a second off. Samantha had showed both him and Fran where the cameras were.

Which ones to avoid and which would be out of action untill it would be repaired a month after this.

Where the employee's were at what times and what to do in a scenario where someone had seen something they were not supposed to.

Early this morning they had bought two plane tickets to France;Paris with the off-shore account in the names of John Brown and Agnus Redford.

They had gone through John daily schedule and knew that he would be on his way to a diner like clockwork before six p.m. after work for for a piece of cake and coffee where he would stay for an hour before going home.

The cake truck Francis was driving was easy enough to use as a cover to the street cameras and the people walking past.

They had all agreed that a black van with no number plates would be a bad idea , both because it wouldn't match the scene and because it would arouse the neighbourhood's suspicion.

When Fran parked exactly where they were supposed to, never cutting off the engine.

Blake got out, held the cloth over the older man's mouth and nose and pushed him into the side of the van.

Fran turned back into Main Street.

Sam managed to convince them that she would be the be the one to drive John's car to the house.

The red mobile had darkly tinted windows, so the street cameras she would be going past would be seeing the car park into a closing garage, where no one could see him coming out.

Sam and Francis were seen entering the home after school where she normally picked her up from every Friday.

Once the scene was set and they had gotten rid of the blood on both the floor and the back of John's car that they'd used Sam snd Fran's pines of blood from, after they managed to leave a bottle of alcohol in his right hand.

Not that he'd ever get to enjoy it.

Sam picked up her phone after Francis managed to give out a shrill scream she knew the neighbours would complain about and dialled the emergency number.

"Help!"

Sam faked holding back a sob," H-He killed her!"

The brunet let out a sharp gasp, jogging around the room. Before the person answering the call could even say anything, Sam sobbed again.

She slowed down into a sight pacing instead.

"He's gonna kill me too!" The phone call died and she stopped pacing, turned to Francis and her boyfriend grinned.

Francis leaned into Blake and whispered, "Geez, remind me not to get on her bad side!"

Samantha only snorted.

Blake felt himself grin darkly when a realisation came to mind.

John Brown and his secretary will finally be brought to justice.

And they wouldn't know what hit them.

Not untill it was too late.
