"Mom we are home" Lu Yan skipped into the house happily. She hugged madam Lu the moment she walked over from the kitchen.
"Mom, why are you putting on an apron?"
"I wanted to make something for you and Wei Yang" she smiled. "Wei Yang, how was it? Did you have fun?
"Hm, I did. I will be in my room" she answered and walked up stairs.
"Why is her face gloomy?" Madam Lu asked.
"It's a long story mom, I will tell you about it. Let's sit down first"
"Nanny Wong, help me check that cake and remove it from the oven when it's done"
"Yes madam" answered nanny Wong.
After Lu Yan narrated what happened at the mall, madam Lu was so mad she placed a call to madam Mi instantly "how do you bring up your daughter? If she causes trouble for my girls again, you wouldn't be able to bear the consequences" she ended the call still raving mad.
"Hello... hello....Why is she angry? What has my daughter done to offend them? That spoilt brat, she will answer to me when she gets back" Madam Mi said and dialled Feifei's number but was busy. She called her husband instead "Your good daughter has offended the Lu's. Her upbringing is all thanks to you and your sons. I don't care how you solve the mess she created, but don't let it affect my friendship with madam Lu" she said angrily
"Don't be angry, it won't affect your friendship. I have already spoken to Lu Kang Song. We have resolved the issue. I will send compensatory gifts to the girls. Ground that girl. Her behaviour is becoming too preposterous as of late. she is going to cause us more trouble. Father's butler called me earlier.... Father is not pleased with her" he sighed.
"Father in law is not pleased with her? will he send her there too?" Madam Mi panicked. "Please honey, don't let him send her there" she begged. her eyes turned red. How many of the Mi children sent there has ever returned or called home? none.
"You know I cannot talk to father, he calls me useless. I will send Mi Cheng to him"
"Ok, see you soon" she disconnected the call and wiped her tears.

Monday morning, Lu Yan got dressed for school and went to invite Wei Yang downstairs for breakfast.
Wei Yang came out with faint dark circles under her eyes. "Good morning" she greeted and sat down. She placed her school jacket on her chair handle and turned over the plate to put in food.
"Sister what happened to your eyes? Didn't you have enough sleep?" Lu Yan asked frowing.
"Hm, I was busy"
"Wei Yang, what are you busy with? You are still so young, you should sleep more and don't mess up your sleeping habit" Madam Lu reprimanded gently
"Yes, I will keep that In mind" Wei Yang said.
"Leave her be, she's no longer a child, she knows what she's doing" Lu Kang Song told his wife. He knew Wei Yang was not like every other girl her age. For example, the proposal she gave him last night was not a work an ordinary child could write. He looked at her and smiled.
Lu Yan didn't pay much attention to their conversation. She was busy stuffing her mouth and filling Wei Yang's plate with food.
"Eat sis, you are too thin" she said incoherently. Her cheeks bulging.
"Stop eating like a hamster. You are no longer a baby" Wei Yang cautioned. She hated it.
Lu Yan was taken aback for a second then smiled widely. "I love hamsters the most. I wanted to rear one, but mom wouldn't allow me" she said after she swallowed what was in her mouth and pouted. She wanted to continue talking when she felt something stuffed into her mouth.
"Eat" Wei Yang stuffed a piece of meat into her opened mouth.
"Wei Yang loves me the most" Lu Yan rejoiced.
Wei Yang shook her head. She didn't do it out of kindness. she only wanted her to shut up, but it seems she failed because she was still talking.
