At Lu Kang Ming's residence.
Lu Rong woke up to her parents eating. "MOM, Dad, good morning" she yawned and stretched.
"Morning. Come over and have your break fast" Shu Lin said.
Lu Rong went over and sat on her usual sit. She turned over the empty plate in front of her and proceeded to fill it with her favourites .
"My brother, Song has found his lost daughter" Lu Kang Ming said nonchalantly without raising his head.
The food Lu Rong was about to put into her mouth dropped from her chopstick into her plate.
Shu Lin widened her eyes "Is Lu Yan not their real daughter?"
Lu Kang Ming and Lu Rong both looked at her like an idiot .
"When you are done eating, meet me in the study" Lu Kang Ming said.
"Yes father" replied Lu Rong. She was scared that stupid Lu Yan would rant her out to her family.
Shu Lin looked from her husband to her daughter and hit her chopstick on the table with a loud bang.
"Do you both take me for a fool? For how long are you going to hide things from me? Am I not part of this family?!" She asked fuming.
"No, you are not. You were brought in by my father and your only duty is to give me children which you can't do. Just eat your meal quietly and go back to your room" Lu Kang Ming furiously said. He stood up and left for his study.
"Mum, why did you have to get on his nerve?" Lu Rong shook her head pitifully and stood up too and followed her father to his study.
Shu Lin looked at the back of her daughter leaving and frowed. She took her phone from the table and sent out a message.

Wei Yang got out of her room after freshing up. "Good morning" she greeted the whole family sitting on the dining table. Lu Yan had come to knock on her door this morning, informing her to go downstairs for breakfast
"Morning Yang Yang. Hope you slept well?" Madam Lu asked smiling.
"Hm, I did" she sat down close to Lu Yan .
"Good Morning Wei Yang" she greeted.
"Morning...Lu yan"
"I will be going shopping later, do you want to accompany me?" Asked Lu Yan, looking expectantly at her.
Wei Yang paused for a second "No, I am busy" she said.
"Ok, do you need anything, so I can get it for you?" She asked
"No thank you, I'm fine "
Lu Yan felt that Wei Yang was still mad at her so she turned to her parents "Mom , Dad.." she took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "I- I have know Wei Yang since Middle school. I knew that she looked like grandmother. I wanted to tell you and dad about it but ..."
"That's enough. The fact that you know your wrong is enough. I hold nothing against you, I am not angry at you" Wei Yang stopped her from complicating things. It was not clear why Lu Rong was instigating Lu Yan. Lu Rong was too little five years ago to come up with that many schemes. Someone must be behind it . Lu Kang Ming and his family can't be innocent. what they intend to achieve is a matter she has to investigate.
Madam Lu sighed.
"I will turn a blind eye this time Lu Yan since you confessed it yourself, but don't try such silly things again in the future. I won't be this nice. Both of you are my daughter's, you should stop feeling afraid of being abandoned. If you don't do anything unbefitting of my daughter, I won't abandon you, got that? Lu Kang Song reprimanded.
"Yes, father. Mother , I am sorry. please forgive me, I promise I won't do it again. Wei Yang, I am sorry" her eyes turning watery.
"It's fine, your food is getting cold" Wei Yang said and Lu yan smiled.
