'May I have your attention everyone.' he calls out stepping onto the podium. all eyes were already on him. I don't understand why they called this dinner where else it appeared as nothing but an entire event. Even though all that happened was people randomly talking and some calm slow music I could tell that this can never be described as A simple dinner. even though and Ricky wanted to make it look like that it wasn't that. perhaps this was a rich people doing. because it seemed more of a celebration. but there isn't anyone I could ask about that. I was not yet accustomed to anyone in this party or even in Enrique's life. I could still think the eyes of his friends are stabbing my back. there was a lot of people looking at me. as if there is something that I had not fully understood.
