''So Elizabeth, are you in college right now, or are you working?'' Enrique's mother asked me catching me offguard. Even though I had the answer at my fingertips, I wondered whether I would tell her that I was working and still in school or I was only in school. What do rich Brats do? I had not yet figured out that part because I have not been pretending to be rich for a long time. That perhaps if I show a different behavior from all the other rich people of my age, then Enrique's mother would be more approval of our relationship.
'' I'm studying law at Harvard but I also have a part-time job that keeps me occupied most of the time. I make sure my response is short hoping that she will only focus on the Harvard part and not the job that I do.
