Not much has changed in the Main Earth, or so that's what Lev said to himself as he admired the surroundings. Of course, the landmasses have changed and technology has improved to the point where he couldn't recognize a few things, however, there were still some things that never changed.
The roads are still made of asphalt and concrete but aerial highways for flying cars were set up already as well. There are still streetlights everywhere, as well as surveillance cameras. Convenience stores and stalls are still a thing, and even the system of payment and currency didn't change that much at all. The only conspicuous change Lev found was the skyrise buildings that seemed to fill the place. With the technology the Main Earth has now, they could finally build buildings that are more than a hundred stories tall without difficulty.
By now, Lev and Titania had already come out of the Terean Airport. Apparently, the country where they landed is called Terea, a small territory in the northwest part of Asia. This country was famous for its unique Asian cuisine and a variety of seafood.
"This place is very lively. How did Main Earth become like this?" Titania asked herself while trying to pick up her pace so she can continue walking beside Lev.
"It didn't take a planet overnight to develop like this. At most, it took thousands of years, a plethora of failures, and countless missteps. But seeing this now, it sure is fulfilling." Lev sighed. "Did you know, back then, it was considered impossible to escape the Main Earth's gravitational pull and fly to outer space?"
"Really?! On our planet, it's always been common knowledge that flying to outer space is possible. Even with primitive technology, we can make a rocket that could fly out of outer space." Titania slightly bragged.
"But it took plenty of years before your planet got to that point, right?"
"I guess you're right."
With a slight nod, Lev chuckled, amused by Titania's realization. As soon as he did that though, his stomach started grumbling.
"Why don't we eat somewhere?" Lev offered, eyeing a stall that sold a variety of fried chicken and other side dishes.
"Mhm," Titania didn't need a second invitation.

Ever since the Great Nuclear War which almost destroyed the world on a planetary scale, changes have been made in the rulers and the government of the Main Earth. Much land has been left inhabitable and the population drastically dropped, leaving only a small percentage of people to rebuild Main Earth. This small group of people decided to hire and position the best of the best people to lead them. Of course, skills aren't the only things that matter, but the trustworthiness of the person itself. And thus, the Council was made.
The Council is a group of the elite of the elites, top experts in their fields, and the most trustworthy. They discuss world affairs and seek to maintain the status of the Main Earth— devoid of war. They've met with countless difficulties but none were left unsolved, nor did the issues lead to an even bigger problem. This Council oversees the whole world, dealing with everything Main Earth-related.
"Sir, we've encountered two immigrants. I repeat, two immigrants." A woman named Sylkhiv Akupetere of the Camo Class announced as soon as she entered a conference room. Those who were present instantly turned towards her, wondering why she disturbed such an important meeting. She's an expert in monitoring and espionage, that's why she could instantly smell inconsistency.
"Hostiles?"
"No, sir, they came with one of the registered space cruisers owned by the Main Earth— Space Cruise Zero One Zero Five, also known as Space Cruise Upsilon Chi."
"Why weren't they registered upon touchdown?"
"That, I have no idea, sir. They seemed human so they probably weren't checked just like the others." Sylkhiv responded. This was a normal occurrence so she didn't bother saying that they probably missed them. Had it been monitored, then Sylkhiv won't have anything to do except lounge around in her office.
"Have them registered, Sylkhiv, and thank you so much for your hard work. Say, don't you have any work tonight? You should spend some time with your family."
"Thank you very much, sir." Sylkhiv enthusiastically responded, bowing down before closing the door behind her. Now, all she needs to do is contact the authorities in Terea and have them register the two. And then she can go home.
"How many days has it been since I last returned home?" She smiled to herself, skipping steps as she headed back to her office.
One thing confused her a little bit though, and that was because the identity of one of the unregistered immigrants was so mysterious. Of course, she didn't have any records about his past whatsoever, but after running his identity again through the archives, there were fragments of bytes there that appeared, as if his identity has been tampered with.
'I wonder who that guy is,' Sylkhiv inwardly thought. She can't quite wrap her finger around his existence.

The weather in Terea could not be any better for a picnic outdoors but Lev and Titania had a different plan in mind. After getting their fair share of food from the stalls that littered the nearby park, they went to the nearest shop where one can borrow or charge up any devices. Since Lev doesn't know anything about this futuristic world, he thought that he should just look it up and try to digest all the information. While the others took a break from the voyage, Lev started cramming information in his head. As for Titania, she continued eating while looking over Lev's shoulder.
Of course, Lev could always look up things on the communications device attached to his wrist, but he disliked the limited view of the communications device. Its screen was just too small and as mentioned before, the Carnage Class aren't really the patient ones.
"Hey, Lev, that thing on your wrist has been beeping for a few minutes now," Titania said in between bites. Lev was already researching the Great Nuclear War when he was interrupted.
"Really?" Curious, Lev glanced at his communications device, only to see that Captain Zed was personally trying to call him.
