Tucker closed his mouth.
He wasn't about to reveal the name of the man who had gotten her pregnant and caused her miscarriage.
"Yvonne, I'm fine, really. After all, I'm 27 and falling in love is pretty normal, isn't it?"
"It's normal," Yvonne Finley agreed, she put down the knife she was holding. "But knowing that you were pregnant and focusing only on himself, which led to your miscarriage and severe bleeding, can you rationally explain to me how that's normal?"
Tucker couldn't find the words.
She could face outsiders without hesitation, being fiery-tempered, disagreeable, uncivilised - these were her labels.
But Yvonne Finley was different.
Finley was the only family she had left.
No matter how bad her attitude was, she was usually restrained within a certain limit, rarely stepping out of line with Finley.
Because those who are typically gentle and kind can oftentimes be the scariest when they're furious.
