"Get up. The day has started and you still want to laze around? How can you humans be this lazy?" Su felt himself being shaken awake by small hands. It made Su tighten his grip on his covers and bury himself tighter in the heat around him.
There was a slight ache in his body that appeared every time Su tried to move it. It made Su not want to move at all.
"WAKE UP!" The voice in his arms increased in volume and it caused the body behind Su to tense up. The arms holding the omega tightened for a few seconds and Su felt consciousness slam into him like a rock.
He was in someone's arms and they held him tightly. The alpha did not smell like Erwin but the feeling of being in those arms felt right. They felt secure and like a dream around Su.
"Who's yelping like this in the early morning? Go away" Su felt the air being knocked out of his lungs as those arms tightened around his torso. They were tight and held a grip as nothing else had.
They were also an inconvenience now that Su had woken up and he tried to get them to lose their hold unsuccessfully. The more he tried to make them let go, the tighter they held onto him.
"Sorry kid. Looks like I'm not going anywhere for a while longer" Su replied as he gave up on struggling in those arms. They were too tight and uncomfortable.
Plus, Su felt wetness near his bottom that made his face flush with embarrassment and made him want to bury himself in the bed. The release from yesterday still clung to Su's insides and that was not a sight Su could shoe to the kid. It was a one-way ticket to childhood trauma.
"Why is the emperor still here? Doesn't he need to be at the court at this time? Surely Lady Ray would not have let it go" Damian asked as he crossed his arms. His face looked thoughtful and Su felt his heartbeat increase.
"I don't know, kid. I just woke up and found myself in this situation. Why don't you wait outside while I sort this out and wake the emperor?" Su asked the favour with a burning face. He couldn't even make himself look toward the emperor, nor the kid. The expression being aimed at his way by Damian told Su that he did not agree with him. There was a fire in those eyes that told Su to get ready for a fight.
"Who? Leave me alone and that's an order. Tell the court that I'm not coming in today. Tell them I'm sick or something" the emperor interfered before Su could make an excuse. His tone seemed final.
The door was opened at that time and Lady Ray had entered the discussion as well. Su could see her raised eyebrow at his current situation and his lack of willingness to get up.
The mixed smells inside the room must also tell her what exactly happened here last night
The kid might not have picked it up due to his age but Lady Ray was different.
"I'm sorry to say but you can't make that excuse. The court cannot handle a sick emperor so you should pick yourself up now" Lady Ray sounded amused at Su's current predicament but she also looked stubborn.
She was making it clear that the emperor had no choice but to wake up.
Lady Ray was playing a dangerous game without even knowing about it and Su felt responsible to inform her about it. The emperor's smell was souring at the arrival of another alpha in his space. There was no way it would turn out well for anyone if the emperor snapped.
"Lady Ray, can you give us a minute alone? I need to talk with my alpha" Su made sure to stress on the last words and he heard the associative growl at his back.
His alpha was one possessive bastard after all and Su knew a way to snap him out. However, he would prefer to do it without any audience in front of him.
"Damian, let's leave these two alone for a little while" Lady Ray caught his subtle sign while the kid still looked confused. Su felt bad for him but chose to ignore the questioning looks.
The kid would learn one day but Su would prefer to not be his teacher for now. He had a possessive alpha at his back to take care of after all.
Blue eyes stared at the retreating party the whole time they were there. The emperor turned his attention back to Su only once they were alone. And the attention was scaffolding Su. He knew what he had to do but he was not confident if he liked it or not.
"Come on, back to your senses you go. It's alright" Su rubbed his head beneath the emperor's chin and allowed his scent to begin to spread around. It seemed to be calming his alpha down from the mood he had found himself in and his body melted above Su.
This kind of disassociation was something human alpha fell into after a high-intensity night and the case looked to be the same for these people.
And it was not only sex that triggered this state but emotions in themselves. Ignis had gotten into these moods quite a lot when they had been children and it had made Su quite profound in how to deal with it.
This was also why Su had known them to be a bond pair. It was something specific too. The bond pair after all.
Su slowed down once he felt the emperor come around. It was a risky move for Su to have attempted but he did not mind. The body had been his alpha's so his instincts caved in.
Su started to pull away from his alpha once he felt him settle down against his body. It should be alright now…
…or so Su thought. But the emperor had different opinions than his own and pulled the omega against his side. There was a mouth on Su's neck which felt good but also made Su embarrassed.
"You snapped me out of my daze. How did you do that?" The whisper sounded close to Su's ears and it tickled his ear. It was sensual but also enchanting to the omega inside Su.
"We're a pair and it has always been something I've been able to do. Your alpha likes my presence" Su replied with an almost moan. His body shivered at the proximity to the heat of his alpha's body. Something seemed to have changed in their interaction.
"Is that so? Then maybe I should keep you in my bed today. To thwack out this sudden mood I've found myself in" the alpha asked and Su almost felt like he would be kissed again.
Su's mind felt like it was blank and his omega senses had already gone out of control. This was a dangerous situation and Su felt a tingle of fear follow down his spine. Whatever mood he had found himself in, Su didn't think he wanted to be here any longer.
The atmosphere inside was broken by a knock on the door and an irritated voice.
"Are you both done flirting there? Can I come in to take my charge now? The old hag would not let us enter unless you are both done" Su's body had never moved faster than at that moment. One second he was almost in the emperor's lap, the next second he had jumped out of it to reach the bathroom in record time.
"I'll be having a bath now. You should get ready for the court as well" Su yelled as he shut the door. His face burned with humiliation at having been caught in the moment.
Su made sure to take his time with the shower and to allow his humiliation to be swept away from his face.
When he came out, he expected the room to be empty. But the emperor was still on the bed even after Su's extra long shower. Su looked at the emperor with a questionable face.
"You hogged the bathroom so I could bit get ready. Surely you didn't expect me to head to the court like this? You'll be killed on spot for having bedded me" Su felt his recently blanked face redden once again.
He hated the alpha and the royal court and his life.
"Let's go. I don't want to spend even a second more inside this room" Su almost cried as he opened the door. The pair of amused blue eyes looked at him and it made Su feel a weird sort of fondness.
He did not want to feel this for the emperor, just his alpha.
"Are you sure? Really, sure about it? You can start tomorrow" but Su had made up his mind. He all but dragged the kid out of the corridor.
