Angga felt anxious after realizing that it was pitch dark around him, Angga turned his eyes to the right and left, trying to check the situation and conditions around him. Angga is afraid that if he meets a psychopathic man who carries his head in his hands, he hopes that he will never meet that man again.
Angga's head is now tilted upwards to be able to see the dark sky, which at that time was black and bluish, without any stars and moon, making him feel the lack of light. His eyes couldn't even socialize with the pitch blackness that enveloped him right now, that's what made Angga slowly stand up from his seat and walk one step at a time with his left hand always touching the wall of the labyrinth of bushes as a determinant of his walking direction.
"Hh… hh…. hahhh ..." Angga's roaring breath could be heard clearly by himself, it was undeniable, Angga felt panicked because he felt that he was being watched in the pitch darkness. Angga couldn't look around because his vision was too dark to be able to catch anything at both ends of the hallway that was in front and behind him at this time.
Because of the darkness of the labyrinth, Angga believes that even the bright light of a flashlight will not be able to penetrate too far from the darkness presented by the sky above him to the hallways he is walking on.
However, the darkness did not last long. After about two to three minutes of Angga walking slowly to penetrate the darkness, a faint light slowly came and began to illuminate the labyrinth. The light came from several bushes that towered on the right and left or let's say every single box of the maze wall that was in the maze glowed.
It's as if some of the tall bushes produce Bioluminescence, although Angga is one hundred percent sure that the bushes can't emit light like mushrooms and fireflies or jellyfish. The color of the light or glow produced by the bushes is green to bright brass or let's say the color is similar to the highlighter color that Angga often uses when he wants to emphasize a word or sentence in several piles of reports given to him by the staff.
Feeling strange about this, Angga approached one of the glowing bushes and looked at him probingly, which in the end made Angga remember an experiment that reminded him of a glowing plant that had been given nanoparticles.
Angga became convinced about this, these bushes were intentionally given a nanoparticle substance in the form of the enzyme luciferase, which is a substance derived from fireflies. Usually, these small animals use luciferase to lure the opposite sex into mating.
Angga believed that because he felt that the color of the bushes growing in the labyrinth was exactly like the plants he had studied, which also produced a greenish-yellow color like the color of the highlighter.
Seeing the lights produced by the bushes made Angga think back to the watercress plant that he had used as practicum material at his school in the past. It is the greatest memory, as well as a memory that will never be forgotten that Angga has ever felt in his school days.
At that time, Angga was the only student who managed to do the practicum and got himself the highest score in the practicum exam. He also proudly used the watercress as his own light when he slept at night for four days.
Every day, he always boasts of the results of his practice to his friends and even distant friends who have transferred schools, and the results of his research are like an honor for Angga. Her luminous plants really make her a confident person.
However, it did not last long after the luminous plants that always accompanied him at night had to be given up by Angga after his mother cooked them into delicious vegetables which were enough to shock him.
Remembering the greatest memory, made Angga smile, forgetting the conditions and situations he was currently facing for a moment. However, a split second later, Angga regained his senses when he felt the air temperature in the labyrinth suddenly drop and turn very cold. And the temperature that was felt cold again became very cold again, the cold in the labyrinth made Angga shiver because of it. He also decided to return to walking so as not to experience Hypothermia.
"I have to find a safe and warm place..." Angga muttered to himself, he decided to do it because Angga felt that the air he was currently feeling was less than 4 degrees Celsius, and Angga was not used to such extremely cold temperatures, because he has been living in Jakarta for a long time.
Angga traced the endless long hallways at that time. Angga admits it, he is very, very tired, and needs rest right now! But he has not found a safe place to be used as a comfortable and safe resting place.
Sriiiiing~
Angga's sense of hearing caught a sword whirring sound, and it certainly made Angga feel panicked and threatened. The panic that hit Angga at this time made him not know what to do, but one word just popped up in Angga's mind at this time.
Running, that one word came into his mind, so Angga decided to immediately turn his gaze to the right and left to find out the origin of the sound of the sword whistling, and when he knew that the origin of the sound was coming from the right, Angga immediately ran towards the left to dodge the person who swung his sword.
Other hidden words also appeared in Angga's mind after he ran, making Angga look around to find a good hiding place that he felt was right to hide his big body. However, Angga did not find the slightest gap between the bushes he passed to serve as a hiding place.
Siiing~
The whirring sound of the sword drew closer to him, which made Angga even more panicked because he heard the sound.
"Hah ... hah ... hh ..." Angga's breath was heard very clearly by himself, and even the sound of his heartbeat was felt so clearly in his ears.
Running and running, Angga stepped quickly without stopping, tracing the maze which at that time only presented one way forward, realizing this made Angga feel very desperate, he was about to give himself up after the fast steps taken by Angga grew slower.
It was the increasingly ragged breaths that dominated the sounds around him apart from the whistling of the sword that sounded like it never stopped, perhaps the sound was made as a kind of warning to himself and the others, just like the whistling sound of a scary head-holding man.
