Homeroom had come to an end for the day; each student grabbed their belongings, headed to their first-hour class, and tried not to be late on the first day.
Still, in the room, Beck tried to decide what to do with Emma and how he would go to break up with her, during a school day. It was the only choice he got.
"Ugh, this is going to be a long day," he said, grabbing his bookbag, and heading out of the homeroom.

Alicia sat in the front row of her first-hour class, zoning out in space wanting the day to be over already, even though it was only her first class.
She doesn't usually have any friends to talk to other than her teachers to help her with her assignments and that's all. She was used to it, even if some people think of her as a strange girl with no friends that nobody doesn't wants to be around. Besides, students never noticed her for the most part, other than her art, and try to use her whenever there's a project; therefore, it's hard for her to say no.
That didn't disturb her too much, knowing most of the time, that kind of people would always get the extra credit, leaving her with nothing. She sighed when her teacher arrived an hour after the bell had rung; everyone went to their seats to start the day.
Her phone's vibrant throughout her book bag, knowing it was just her aunt checking on her, making sure everything was okay.
To realize it wasn't her aunt, but the same guy she texted back in July.
