Making his way up to the archives, he meets Lohi, a person he remembers a bit as Lohi was a child when he was still around before. "Lohi! Is it actually you?" "Uhh, who are you exactly?" "It's me, San. You would walk around the headquarters as a kid and watch the passing people," San said, "wait! San!?! Where have you been, and why are we now around the same age?" "It's a long story, but I really need to get into the archives and find out about the stuff that has happened, I need to know where my latest mission is, and I wish to find my friend." "Look, I'd get in big trouble if I let you in. Things became more regulated ever since Len left, but I wanna help, so don't tell anyone I'm doing this and don't make a mess, got it?" Lohi whispered, San nodded, and Lohi unlocked the door allowing San in. The place was dark and massive. The only light that was around was the flickering old lights dangling from the ceiling. San would have to work with what there is. He quickly looked up Dev's name and Lens as well. After a few hours of research, he learned of Len's whereabouts, and most importantly, he learned that his mission which was teaching Dev control, was a big threat and has caused much destruction. San needed to find this horrid anomaly and end it before it got worse. He learned that Dev was in the same land as Len; he was the one that followed Len to try to stop her but fell through the gate. They didn't tell anyone for fear of losing its power if the legions lower members learned that they couldn't actually control either a rogue or an unstable anomaly, so they declared both dead. San was disgusted by the legions priorities and decided to follow Len and escape with the help of Lohi. San made it into the artifact vault and took a few items himself, too of those items, one being the frozen pulse dagger, he sadly couldn't find its box, though, but there was no time for that. He snuck out of place made his way back to his home to create a plan of escape. San knew he couldn't use the gates anymore as travel in the meantime was restricted. He asked Lohi for a last and also the most dangerous favor, and that was to bring him a contact sphere. San planned on calling in for a favor of a person he once helped out to. Lohi agreed to help one last time and brought back the sphere undetected. San calls into the atrocity realm. "Hello? Who is this?" Came out of the sphere, the voice of a lady from the other side was talking. "Is this Molly?" San said back, "yes, who is this?" "It's uh San we once worked together to rid you of your shackles." "San! Hi, what's going on? Why are you using this form to talk to me?" "It's a long story, but I need to get out of here. I know you still are hiding, and I know of David's whereabouts. He's in the place that I need to go to as well. Do you think you could help me out?" "If I do this, I'd be stripped of my powers. I hope you know that?" "Yes, I do, but don't you want to be with David no matter the cost?" San said back. There was a long moment of silence, and San was waiting for an answer, one that would destine the path of both. "I do. I will help you out; just know though that this will upset both of our kind." "I know, and I don't care for my kind. They're not honest and wrong. I wish to not associate with them any longer," San said with a confident tone "okay, then meet by the edge of the cliff that near you the portal will open for both of us to meet half-ways in two minutes," Molly said now with a confident tone as well. By now, the guards noticed that the vault was broken into, and the archives and the last person they saw around both was San, so they were out looking for him. The lockdown alarms around the area went off, meaning that everyone was to stay where they were until fully searched or else would be killed on the spot. San panicked "what do I do, Lohi?!?" Lohi called through his radio, "I've got the suspect. I'm near reach of him trying to apprehend him" "what!? Are you betraying me?" San said in a saddened voice, "no, I'm not. I'm letting them have me complete this without sending more troops to come after you; they think I will get you before you can run now, so how's the time to run to the portal? I'll follow you. Let's go!" They make a run for it, Lohi giving regular updates as to how he's doing with the chase to throw them off their path. As they grew closer to the place, the portal opened and was ready for use. San runs into it but stops as he notices Lohi isn't running behind him anymore. "Lohi, what are you doing? You can't stay anymore. You'll have failed your mission of getting me and be punished for it," San cried out, worried for his friend's safety. "It's best if I stay. It's easier for two to leave and would only complicate things for you two, and you guys have a reason to go. I really don't think all my stuff is right here" San knows he can't convince him, so he gets out of the portal, rips pieces of his cloth and hands it to Lohi then pulls out a bomb detonating it behind them and hands Lohi his rank ring then pulls out a knife from the bag he carried and makes some cuts to splatter blood on the pieces of clothes he handed Lohi. San had created a scene to make it seems as tho Lohi had no choice but to kill San before he escaped the place so that Lohi wouldn't face any consequences and would allow Lohi to take on the spot that San was in. They both said their goodbyes, and San went back in the portal to meet Molly as Lohi made his way back to the headquarters to finish off the plan they had created. Molly was already in the middle waiting for San. "Sorry I took so long. I ended up making a hole in my backpack, and I kept dropping my stuff, so I had to keep picking them up" "no worries. but now where to?" "Oh yea, Earth is our destination. After that, I'm pretty sure David will feel your presence and come to us, then we'll see from there" "okay then, the earth here we come."
