The cool breeze was blowing, making their hair go from one side to other. Lili was reading and Shiyi was busy observing her expressions as book was as it's end and it was being interesting.
She would sometimes pout,and be shocked. "Huh??"He came out of his beautiful trance when she asked something while closing the book.
"I said it was good!" She repeated and he whispered "yeah!!" In a low voice.
"Let's go inside, it's gonna rain soon!" He said while looking at the dark clouds and just then they heard a thunderstorm and she smiled.
"Why are you smiling?!"He was shocked,she litrally smiled hearing the thunderstorm.
"I like thunderstorm!"She smiled to him making him shocked.
"May I ask why??"He asked, mostly all are afraid of storms, she is really different.
"No!"She directly said with a poker face and went inside.
She denied to the great Lu Shiyi!!! How can she???....well she can.
He went in sometimes after her and saw her laying on the bed. Her back facing him and he slept with various thoughts in his mind.
_NEXT DAY_
"You ready?" Shiyi asked
"Almost." Lili said while wearing her earings and she don't need to wear a necklace as she was wearing the pendant which Shiyi gifted her. Pairing the earings with silver high heels, her fingers touched the anklet which he gave him last night and all the memories started coming in her mind but she put them side and went out with him.
They were going to a buisness party of one of their partner where all were invited. Lili was wearing a simple black slit dress and he was wearing a black tuxedo making with her outfit.
They reached there after a 40 min long drive. It was a big club and all were wearing black outfits and there was no sign of any other people rather than buisness related. They went in and was welcomed by a man who owned the club and who invited them.
He looked like he's in his late 50s and introduced them to others before offering them drinks. Lili chose the non alcoholic as she have a very low tolerance and while Shiyi kept his poker and cold face all the time.
And her eyes widened when she saw Xing Xi there,she didn't knew she would come as she hate these type of boring parties.
She greeted both of them and then whispered something in Lili ears which made her eyes widened. Shiyi was just looking at them,he didn't heard what she said to Lili but was sure it was not good.
_LILI'S POV_
Ohh no!! He's here!!
*Now what?!*
I don't know.. but what is he doing here?!
*He's also a businessman!!*
I too know that but..urrrghh!! Nothing..
She was now worried. Why he have to be here now? She huffed annoyed. "You sit here and I'll come in a minute."Shiyi said leaving us and went to someone and started talking.
"Now what should we do?"Xing Xi asked and looked at me. I thought for sometime and then looked at my phone and then a n idea popped in my mind. I looked at Xing while smirking.
"What?"She asked and i winked at her.
"Is there anyone with him?" I asked her and she nodded.
"His assistant and his bodyguard are standing outside of the club but I think he still have his some of his men in."she told me and i nodded knowing it will be easier but we have to be alert still.
"Now do as I say." I told her something in her ear and after i sat back straight I saw someone recording us by hiding behind the pillar.
"Now!" She stood up and walked away while I just sat there and started doing what I have to on my phone and I saw Xing talking with the man who was recording us and then he was following him.
"Clear here."After some time I saw a message from xing. And looked here and there to spot someone and I did. He looked at me and I nodded before he nodded back and went upstairs.
"All clear."And again a message from him. "To our base."i replied back and saw Shiyi coming towards me.
"Lili, I'm going with Lang for an important work." He said.
"When will you come back?" I asked, yeah it'll be easy for me if he'll go.
"Probably tomorrow." I nodded and thought of something
"Then can I stay at Xing's place for tonight?" He looked at me for sometime.
"Please!"I showed my puppy eyes to him and he nodded.
"I'll drop you."He said while walking but how will it work if he'll drop me.
"No need, I will go with her!"I immediately said and he again looked at me.
"Okay fine!" I released out a breathe of relief and just then Xing appeared and took me with her as Shiyi went with Lang.
"He escaped but we But we've caught his assistant." I sighed but for how long will he hide from us?? Start counting your days ,Jiang... I'm coming!!
"Don't worry we have time to we've got plenty of time to make him spit it all out and if we got to know about him, he'll not live more than one second after it!" I said with rage filled inside me as Xing drove the car out of the city.
_THIRD PERSON'S POV_
She quickly went in when they reached the base. It was a house far from the city in between the abandoned houses but It was not the one with bad condition. It was as clean as a new house and they entered in and was greeted by a man.
"Hello, BOSS!!" His voice was clear and he stood straight with his head lowered beside the door way and one she walked away he started to walk behind her, his head still lowered.
Opening the door,he let them in and there was a man tied to a chair. His back facing lili.
"Ohh no!! Look what you have done to yourself!!" She said sarcastically while looking at various weapons on the large table.
"Who are you??" He asked with no energy.
"Ouch,you know it hurts when I'm not famous enough to be recognised by my voice!"She kept her hand on her heart and picked up a knife.
"L...lili??!!"His voice indicating that how scared he was.
"Finally..."Xing xi laughed and sat on the chair comfortably while Lili came in front of him and hissed when she saw his face filled with blood.
"Ouch!!! Isn't it hurting?!"She asked and he looked up at her.
"Why are you doing this?" She rolled her eyes and sat in front of him on the chair,still in her dress.
"Ohh looks like you forgot that what your boss is planning or are you pretending cz if you are, I'll make sure i take good care of you!"he looked at her whose eyes were dark as she have an innocent face.
He started getting horrified and shocked at the same time when he saw a knife in her hands. And knowing too well what happens when someone came under the mercy of her,he trembled.
"Aww!! Look the baby is scared.."She held his hand which was tied to the armrest and started moving the knife towards it.
"Tell me what is he gonna do!!"She enquired in a loud voice.
"I am not gonna repeat myself darling!!"
"I..I di... didn't do a...anything....please.." he stuttered badly.
"Ohh Jesus!!!!!" She kicked her chair back after standing up and turned around again after calming herself down.
"Ohkk never mind!! Now tell me" she was now annoyed but her voice was sweet but not sweet. He visibly shuddered and opened his mouth but no words came out.
"He...he is go...gonna k...kidnap you and th...then k..kil-" before he can complete his sentence Lili started laughing and sat on the chair again and after her Xing Xi too started laughing.
"You...hahaha....you heard...hahah...he...he said ... he's gonna kidnap me haahaha!!"She laughed and Xing Xi came forward to her with her laptop.
"Then what is this?!!"Xing Xi shouted at him who literally was wet from the sweating while looking at the screen. He knew now something bad is going to happen And before he could open his mouth he felt a sting on his hand and when he looked down there was blood.
Lili was cutting his thumb and he shouted loudly but one of the men came and put a white cloth in his mouth after lili signalled him.
He cried out in pain but lili moved to his other finger and placed her knife on it and looked at him who was saying something. The man pulled out the cloth .
"I... I'm telling...wait..i... I'm!!"He started ranting.
" Then speak!!"Lili said dangerously and he spoke up.
"H....he... is going to shake hands with oth...other mafia to make him stronger a... and then attack with f...full for...ce. "he was shivering along with stuttering as Lili was still keeping the knife on his index finger while blood was still oozing out of his already chopped off thumb.
"Ohh i see!! Then tell me which mafia it is already... don't keep me waiting!!" she said annoyingly and he closed his eyes due to the pain .
"I...i don't k...know!"He said and Lili narrowed his eyes at him and looked at the same man who turned around to the table and brought a white powdery substance in the box to her.
She opened it and he immediately knew that it was salt. Filling her pinch of fingers she forwarded it to his remaining thumb and he yelled.
"N..no...no...please. Don't!!"But Lili didn't stopped and stopped her fingers above his cut and some of it already fell on it and the man put the cloth again in his mouth to decrease the noise.
"Ahhh!!!!!"he was shouting as Lili spread the salt on it and then backed off. She can see tears on his face and his eyes bloody red matching the colour of the blood on his face.
"Speak!!"She shouted on him and he looked at her whose face was enough for someone to scare.
"I...he...he is....with H...hua..huan!!" He shouted at end as he wasn't able to speak and lili was scaring her more.
"Huan??! He really think that he can beat me with huan!! Huh! I really wasted my time!"She huffed and got up from her seat and Xing took the knife from her and gave her a towel with which she cleaned her hands and walked out but his yelling can still be heard from inside.
"Xing, where is he?" She asked while cleaning her dress but the blood stains were still on it.
"I'm here!" Someone shouted from behind and the girls turned around.
_AUTHOR'S POV_
who's jiang??... what's gonna happen next??...why Lili lied to shiyi to be here??? And who's the girls' partner in this??
And there is the knocking of love on our leads heart?? Will they be able to know what's happening to them??? Will this be a love story or a nightmare for them??
