A young man seemed to be walking closer to another young man who was now busy staring at his cellphone screen with the occasional laugh.
"Hi buddy, looks like you're happy?" Said a young man who had just arrived patted Jasver's shoulder from behind.
Jasver reflex turned his head back to look at the young man who was none other than his best friend.
"When are you coming back?"
Jasver was surprised to find that his best friend, who had been busy developing his company to Europe a few months ago, had now come face to face with him again.
"Just today," said the friend whose name was Asher Bishop.
Jasver nodded his head.
"I heard you are now a novel editor? Are you tired of running your business?" Asher whispered casually as he sat on the bench directly opposite Jasver.
Not immediately answering Asher's question, Jasver frowned in confusion. Because as far as he remembers he never told the others that he now has another job as an online novel editor, then how did Asher know?
That is now the big question for him.
"How did you know about that?" Jasver asked who looked fixedly at his best friend.
"According to you?" Asked back Asher casually.
"Wait ... so you're really dating Jacey?" Jasver shouted which was now excited.
Because he thought Asher was just joking with him a few months ago Asher randomly told Jasver that he was dating his little sister who Asher himself considered a sister and were very close to each other. But what he got now was quite shocking news for him.
"I'm not kidding about that Jasver, because that's what I asked your permission at the time."
Jasver pinched his forehead and took a deep breath.
"You're not going to hurt my sister, are you?"
"Hey!! You think I like to play with women?" Asher shouted quite excitedly.
Jasver shrugged his shoulders lightly as if he didn't feel guilty about his words.
"I know you don't play with women, but you often make women misunderstand you, and before you know it you've hurt them."
Asher fell silent for a moment. Honestly, he had no idea what Jasver had just said to him.
'Am I really like that?' Asher thought inwardly.
"Tsk, I thought you didn't realize what I said earlier, right?"
"Bingo! I've never felt that way," Asher softly whispered.
Jasver just twirled his eyes lazily. He was too lazy to argue with Asher when he was in a mode like he didn't know anything.
Asher stared at Jasver for a moment and chuckled softly.
"So, are you comfortable being editor currently?" Asher asked Jasver.
"Of course."
Asher reflexively stared at Jasver with seriousness. He never knew that his best friend would like to have a job as an editor.
Oh, come on, as he remembers, his friend used to be happier in calculating profits and so on, then why did he suddenly change his mind to become an editor?
Isn't that a little odd?
"Wait, don't tell me you're an editor, after you read a novel you said it was almost like your first love story?"
Thump!
Jasver was silent for a moment, his mouth tightly shut.
How could his best friend seem to be able to read thoughts that he never told anyone?
"So my guess is correct?" Asher asked after not getting a direct response from Jasver.
This time Jasver couldn't refuse Asher's words. He just nodded his head in response.
"Woah, are you crazy?"
"No, I'm not crazy, I'm perfectly sane Asher."
Asher took a deep breath. He couldn't understand what Jasver had just said to him.
"You listen to me well okay?" Jasver softly finally said it to Asher after finding his friend who couldn't understand his decision.
Asher couldn't help but agree with Jasver's question.
"So, I guess I'm not wrong to be an editor there because ... I'm now friends with the author."
"What? Are you sure?" asked Asher who was quite surprised to hear that.
How could that be? Did Jasver reveal it openly?
"Of course, I'm very sure, and you know because she realized that I liked her new story and as proof of respecting our friendship, she published five chapters at once for me today," said Jasver proudly.
Asher couldn't help but shake his head, he didn't expect his best friend to be so lucky.
"That sounds good!"
"Of course it's great, and I can't fault her work," Jasver said happily.
Again, Asher felt that there was something odd about Jasver's words.
"Wait...is she pretty?"
"Hum, so--"
For a moment Jasver fell silent feeling he had been caught in a trick question from Asher.
Asher seemed to be intrigued and couldn't help but laugh at the sight of Jasver's face that had been caught off guard.
"Looks like, I got a new story that you haven't told me yet, don't you think buddy?"
Jasver shut his mouth tightly. He refuses to reveal everything to his friends. At least now is not the right time for him!
"Hey, do you want to hide it from me?" whispered Asher who felt the young man in front of him was reluctant to tell him.
"Nope, it's just that now isn't the right time," Jasver said, licking his lips.
"Tsk, you're so annoying."
Now it was Jasver who laughed at Asher's annoyance.
'Only this time you look happy since then you look broken.'

"It's strange why my ears have been itching so much," whispered Carren, who was now sitting in front of her laptop, wanting to continue her writing.
{Maybe someone is talking about you}
Carren frowned at what Carla had just said.
Is it possible?
But because of what?
That's what immediately occurred in Carren's mind. Moreover, she feels that she doesn't have anyone close to her, because she likes being alone and feels she doesn't fit in a crowd.
"It can't be Carla, how can they talk about me? You just exist," Carren whispered, trying to deny Carla's words which she thought were absurd and a myth.
{Well, that's just my opinion, so it's not necessarily true}
Carla with all her subjective assumptions.
Carren took a deep breath and tried to refocus herself by closing her eyes before continuing to write.
"Relax Carren ... you must continue the story, your fingers are ready to continue this story," said Carren encouraging herself.
{I'm waiting for you!}
A smile could be seen on Carren's face.
