"Jasver, can you take me home? I don't want to bother you any further, and you also know I have to continue my story," Carren whispered as Jasver was about to leave Carren in the room again to rest.
Jasver didn't answer right away but looked at Carren's eyes intently.
"I'm worried for you, I think it will be safer if you stay here for a while, and if you want to get your things I can get them for you."
Carren firmly shook her head. She told Jasver not to do such a thing.
The girl thought she would feel much more awkward if Jasver said that.
"But... what if he comes back to haunt you?" Jasver mumbled half desperate to get a firm rejection from Carren.
Carren closed her eyes for a moment and shook her head slowly.
"He doesn't know, and even if that happens, then you're the first I'll call Jasver."
If Carren had already said that, then Jasver didn't deserve to push her any further, right?
