Chapter 22 - Jacey

Not as usual, now Carren has been in her dreamland with Carla for a long time, and that means Carren has entered her dreamland which is deeper than before.

"What do you think about the storyline I made so far?" Carren asked Carla who honestly wanted the opinion of the characters in the novel, even though if Carren thought rationally then she would realize how ridiculous she was doing, it's just that Carren had already put that thought aside, and assumed what had happened to her was natural, so now she casually asked Carla directly.

Carla looked at Carren's face while giving her a smile.

"The first time I found out that your storyline was like that I would say it was tense, it's just…—"

Carla hung her sentence, while Carren just looked confusedly at Carla who didn't finish her sentence right away.

"Can't you make my love story sweeter? I want to feel it like you Carren," said a half-complaining Carla.

For some reason, Carla looks cute in front of Carren.

"Don't worry, I've made a thorough plan, so you just have to enjoy it," Carren said casually.

"You promise?" Carla asked looking at Carren who replied with a quick nod of her head.

Carla spontaneously hugged Carren.

"Hey! What's wrong with you? Why are you being like this?" Carren was surprised and felt strange about Carla's unusual attitude.

"I just want to hug you, I want to know how it feels to hug a best friend, didn't you say I was your best friend yourself, so there's nothing wrong if we hug each other?" Carla whispered in a relaxed manner that seemed reluctant to let go of the hug.

Carren couldn't help but let Carla, who she thought was a little strange. After all, it was true that she said that they could be said to be friends with each other like what Carla said.

After feeling enough, then Carla let go of Carren's arms.

slash...

Carla spontaneously fell silent, and looked around there, trying to find out if there was something strange about Carren's current dream world or vice versa.

"Do you feel anything strange here?" Carren finally asked Carla to confirm what she was feeling.

Carren frowned. She didn't understand the meaning of what Carla had just said.

A head shakes that Carren finally gave Carla.

'Is it possible that only I can feel it? But how can that be? Isn't this Carren's dreamland?' Carla's monologue spoke to herself.

"Okay, then maybe it's just my feelings," said Carla, who tried to relax but kept her eyes on her surroundings.

'What's really weird here?'

It didn't feel like the time that was running was quite time-consuming for Jasver and Asher, who had been talking for a long time because they had not seen each other for a long time.

"Bro, shouldn't we have lunch? I'm already hungry because I'm foaming at the mouth talking to you," Asher said between his chuckles.

"Just order here, I'll call one of my waitresses," said Jasver casually.

Asher slightly shook his head slowly.

"I told your sister to prepare our lunch, and she's already waiting for us at home," Asher said without the slightest bit of awkwardness.

"Wait, whose house are you referring to?" Jasver asked confused.

"Of Course, your house brother," Asher said without the slightest sense of guilt.

"How is that possible? Oh my God!" Jasver was excited, who no longer understood his best friend, who seemed to be used to his house.

Asher could only give Jasver a light chuckle.

If it was like that, then he could not say anything else, other than assent to his friend.

"I had no idea you were actually with Jacey," Jasver grumbled quietly.

"Give me your car keys, as my apology because I surprised you today," said Asher.

Jasver lazily gave his car keys to Asher.

"Bro your face is not good to see if you keep bending like that, Come on just smile and relax, I feel bad for Jacey who has prepared our food if your face is bent like that."

"You're annoying Asher, can't you just be less annoying for once?" Jasver whispered a little sarcastically to his friend.

Just a light snuggle that Asher gave Jasver.

.

.

It didn't take long for Jasver and Asher to arrive at Jasver's house, where Jacey, the younger sister of Jasver, of course, was already there.

"Woah, you made a lot of food honey? Aren't we just the three of us here?"

A shy smile of shame Jacey gave to Asher, and don't forget the girl immediately hugged her lover.

"I miss you, welcome back here, I'm tired of us being separated by distance and time," said Jacey half whispering to Asher.

"Can't you see I'm still standing here?" Jasver whispered, who was so lazy to see the intimacy of his sister and his best friend.

A low chuckle was clearly heard from the part of Jacey's lips.

"Today was the day Jasver finally came back so of course, I hugged him," the girl defended, while Asher just gave a meaningful smile.

'Annoying!'

"Tsk, why do you have to be together? Can you two not have each other?" Jasver quipped who did not fully approve of their relationship.

Jacey who heard that of course was shocked, reflexively looked at Asher as if she was asking what the problem was between Asher and Jasver.

Aren't these two good friends? Then why doesn't Jasver like Jacey and Asher's relationship?

"Come on bro, you don't say things like that, I really love your sister, I will also promise you that I won't hurt her," Asher whispered with a serious intonation this time unlike before as he let go of his embrace with Jacey.

"I don't want promises, but evidence, and if I later find you hurt her, then don't expect you to have a second chance later."

That's the answer that Asher actually got from Jasver.

Wait...

Wasn't in other words Jasver just said that Jacey and Asher's current relationship had been approved, on the condition that he shouldn't hurt Jacey, right?

"Of course! Thank you, bro," shouted Asher after realizing the implied meaning of the sentence Jasver had just said.

The low hum Jasver could give Asher.

"Thanks, bro," said Jacey as he hugged his brother.

'My sister has grown up.'
