Liam threw Samantha onto the mat for about the 28th time. She had yet to dodge an attack. Thankfully, he wasn't punching, just picking her up and tossing her. Which was demeaning but not overly painful.
She was getting annoyed, and she hoped that was the first step to her wolf coming out.
"Are you even trying?" Liam asked after flipping her for the 30th time.
"I am." Samantha huffed, trying to catch her breath.
"You don't seem determined to win at all." Liam countered.
"Do I need to be?" She asked. Samantha wasn't competitive with others by nature. She didn't need to be the best. She just needed to do well in whatever she was doing.
"Yea, that's a big part of it."
"So you are saying that I need to believe I even have a chance of taking you down?" She looked him up and down astonished. There was no way.
"There is a way." He said, which piqued her interest.
"How?"
"I let you."
