Fortune telling was then done every end of the weeks. I will accompany the astrologer girl as I use that day to oversee my store as well.

I do thought of making a communication device like smart phone but that is not a small project.
I can mimic smart phone in some way but the satellite that will transmit signal is the problem. I have never looked up to satellite, the parts as well as how it works. Myself alone is not enough, I will need more brain to brainstorm with me.
There are indeed sorcerers in our ducal estate but I have no interest in working together with old coots.

Well, being the top ten gave one a good feeling also, those top students will be the one selected to participate in the competition which I have mentioned already; the Grand Academy competition of various countries.

I don't understand why most transmigration or rebirth novels of ancient like theme involve war. It was just to highlight how amazing the main character is, is it not?
Reading an epic war through a book or novels is exciting but if it occurred in real life, war is not really a beautiful thing. It's depressing, gloomy and dark; leaving behind a swamp of mournful cries and regretful tears.

About the smart phone, I did some research on it although I plan to postpone and form a team of researcher first.
I look into signals that could link.
Ether signal, Light wave, Radio waves, infrasound wave, Ultrasonic waves are the kind of signal that I did my research on.
This world mostly used the ether signal, maybe because it was the sorcerer who creates the communication device.
The huge downside was that only sorcerer could activate the said communication device. Not many could afford it either.

The astrologer girl complained.
She was not talking specifically to me so I continue reading my own incantation book.
"By the way Ruru, there is something funny going on the other day I did fortune telling" She unfolds the paper and wave it "There is a grandpa who want to do divination on who stole his dried fish, I told him when he can caught the thief red-handed. Well, you were with me but I don't know whether you pay attention to that incident"
I didn't.
As I was reading incantation while the divination was carrying on besides me that time, I didn't pay particular attention to what manifest around me.
"Anyway, after that a girl enters the stall, she came together with that grandpa, they are not related and just happen to meet by chance. The girl was searching for her cat as it has not gone home for three days. I told her where she can find it-"
"Can you shorten and get to the point?"
I am not that interested in listening to other story. Especially if its a lengthy one.
"Well, the girl cat was the one that stole the grandpa fish and they both find that out at the same time and same place"
"It was such a coincidence, don't you think so?"
She laughs.
I nod my head "I guess so"
"Coincidence is such a mysterious concept" said the person who studies karma.
"Isn't that all not because of karmic ties?"
"How can that be-"
She stops and then as if realizing something, she widens her eyes.
The astrologer girl slaps her forehead "What in the celestial… Oh my… I have always focus on the bigger connection but forget to view in a smaller perspective"
She turns her head to me "Ruru, what is your thought on the karmic ties between the grandpa and the cat owner girl?"
"How would I know?"
It's not like I understand karma.
"I mean your interpretation of their situation"
"Well, you can consider the runaway cat to the missing fish to the girl meeting the grandpa on her search of the cat to the grandpa searching for the thief can be said to be the karmic ties"
"Apparently yes but that is only a surface level explanation. In karmic ties, there have to be the focal or maybe for it to be easily understand, there need to be the rope that will tie people life, creating a string of coincidence. In the case of grandpa, the cat and the cat owner, the dried fish is the ties and the cat is the first produced string that wove around the grandpa and the cat owner. While the grandpa and the cat owner wait for fortune telling, the grandpa chat with her and the cat owner confide her reason for divination. In some way, I am involves in their ties as well but I am a string that does not last. The grandpa gave a dried fish which he still have some left after selling in the market that he carries to the cat owner to use as a bait to lure her lost cat back. Who would've thought that they were looking for the same thing"
"You can study the small cases of the people fortune you tell to understand more of your profession" I gave yet another suggestion, she attracts customer for me after all.
"Umm… I guess your viewpoint on doing fortune telling for commoners can indeed help me improve in my profession, the star did say Ruru have good karma with Celestial dwellings"
