He sat with his mind far away in the lounge. Jacob couldn't help but wonder about how drastically things had changed in the past six years and the thoughts of what the future held.
He had recovered from his thoughts a while later and got up, making his way to the pool table. But of course, the ever mischievous, trouble maker, Ryker Scott who seated himself at the bar wouldn't let Jacob pass in peace. He chose that fateful moment to address the elephant in the room everyone had skirted around since they arrived. With a joint in one hand, he unleashed.
"You tapped that ass yet? It's all over the news. Our boy's getting married and we're the last to find out," Ryker said, twirling the joint in between his fingers. A smug look sat on his face. He didn't really care about Jacob's love life, but his best friend and marriage in the same sentence were hilarious.
