Desperate times call for desperate measures. Truth be told, the man was not made to be alone. Grant Callahan was a man who enjoyed the company of his friends and family. But his decision to be a man of himself with no attachments was justified. But these past few weeks have been a hell of a rollercoaster ride. Suddenly, Grant craved the same people he couldn't stand. He didn't understand what his feelings were, but there were all over the place and he needed to put a lid on it.
The room was silent when Grant went in. He has been in the gym all morning. He toed off his running shoes and threw down the duffel bag, which served as his gym bag. He tapped his pockets and took out his phone and keys and threw them down on the table. They made a clattering sound and Grant winced. He took off his clothes and jumped into the shower.
