"What are you doing?" Jasmine asked as she walked closer to Diana.
Diana didn't say anything. She just lifted her head and hugged Jasmine. She was really in a slump and needed her best friend.
"Dear ...," said the mother, who wanted to hug the daughter.
"Go—I don't want to hear anything from you guys!" Diana said as she hugged Jasmine tightly as she didn't want to let go of her best friend.
Water was still running down Diana's and Jasmine's cheeks. The mother couldn't speak anymore. She knew everything she did hurt her daughter deeply. However, it was all done for her good.
The mother also tried to turn off the shower faucet, but Diana forbade it. She told her mother to leave her with Jasmine.
Jasmine looked at her mother and gave her a sign to entrust everything to her. He would stay by Diana's side until he calmed down.
"Mom, we better get out of here," suggested Dean, who saw Diana's condition.
