Jasmine made herself her father's shield while looking at her mother, who was aiming her gun. She didn't know that her mother had a gun she carried with her wherever she went.
"Mom, can we talk about this and give me the gun," Dean said to his mother-in-law, who was trying to squeeze the trigger.
"That man has insulted my husband enough and me," Angela said with a glare at Adam.
Angela didn't look at Jasmine because that would weaken her, and Adam could use it to insult her again. Dean keeps trying to get his mother-in-law to hold back his emotions because Jasmine is pregnant.
Hearing what Dean said, Angela looked at Jasmine's already enlarged belly. However, it didn't take long for Angela to look back at Adam with a gaze filled with hatred. She pointed her gun up and pressed the trigger.
