Diana walked closer to her mother, then looked at her for a moment and wondered if she would hug her. However, what she hoped for did not happen, and it was all just a dream.
"Since when did you turn out to be like this?" Jasmine whispered to Dean.
"This is true nature," Dean replied.
Jasmine had not thought that the mother-in-law who had last seen her was so different. In the past, her mother-in-law was kind and considerate to her and Diana. She was reminded of what her mother had done, who betrayed her and chose another man.
In her mind asked if all mothers are like that? Are all mothers so selfish with what they think is right? So many questions were running through Jasmine's mind, but she had yet to find the answers.
"You should come home with me!" The mother said in a commanding tone that she didn't want anyone to argue with her.
"I'm going to stay with Dean and I'm not going back to that house," Diana answered without thinking.
