Jasmine just sat on the bed, and she still felt guilty for not being able to protect those close to her and having made Miriam lose her love.
Dean continued to look at his wife, who had been silent. He couldn't do anything to ease the burden and sadness in his wife's heart. He walked over to Jasmine and sat right next to her.
"Honey, crying can make your heart a little relieved," Dean said to Jasmine.
"It was my fault. Suppose I had found Emil sooner. Maybe none of this would have happened. It would be all my fault if only my memory recovered quickly. Maybe Emil wouldn't have died and made Miriam lose her love. Maybe I should die so that no one else becomes a victim," said Jasmine, who kept blaming herself for everything.
"Don't you say that again! It's not your fault it all happened, so we can't do anything about it," said Dean to dispel all the guilt in Jasmine's heart.
