" Grandpa what the f.... ouch." As I was about to complete my sentence I received a smack on the back of my head as I looked beside me for the one who hit me and she said," language Alex." As I mouthed sorry and rubbed my head and looked at Grandpa who was dangling upside down and was grinding like an idiot.
As he looked at us and said," well I didn't expect you guys to be here this quickly."
And grandma said," what the hell are you doing dangling upside down and what type of plant did you order again that caused this to happen to you. That was not here before." As I looked at her and said," Grandma lang..." And then she glared at me and I swallowed my words and then looked back at the upside-down figure of grandpa and he is still smiling.
With a smiling face but still avoiding his eyes to not get caught Richard said," Oh well you see I have a very good explanation about this and that and everything hehe."
And in reply grandma said," I'm waiting Richard. I'm waiting for you to explain." And I got the meaning of that as well as grandpa which was,' if you can't explain it you are in shit deep in trouble.'
As he began explaining," well you see...." And the glare intensified once again. And I thought if I presume grandma as the sun and her eyes as a pair of magnifying glasses then grandpa would be the paper and if do not come clean he will be in shit deep of trouble.
And after some more minutes of trying to explain to grandma and failing miserably about why he was dangling upside down and why a plant's vine was entangled on his legs, he said," I'm sorry I'm guilty. I was just trying to buy this as it's one of the rare magical plants and it was auctioned in the black market at a dirt-cheap rate. Please don't hex my lady I'm sorry."
And a triumphed smile bloomed on grandma's face as she said," see wasn't it easy. Now after freeing yourself from that plant come inside the house." And then she took my hand and then walked out of the big ass greenhouse with me.
And we heard grandpa's cry for help as he asked for his wand and then for some sort of potion solution. But his cry for help faded as we exited the barrier.
As I walked beside grandma I looked at her with a questioning gaze as she looked back and said," well you should know that he bought that plant for some other purposes besides it being of a rare species. "
But then I questioned her," but what is that plant. And how was it able to tie grandpa up?"
At this grandma chuckled and then replied," well even though your herbology lesson for today is canceled because of your grandpa's stunt. I will tell you about it. That plant is called the cypress plant. It's quite a rare species of plant and they are also not found in the United Kingdom anymore as they were the native plants that were only found in dark and humid caves and forests with no sunlight. "
As I listened to her and said," Then that plant is super rare of the rare plants. How did he acquire it at a dirt-cheap price even though he bought it on the black market? Surely in these types of places, many high-level wizards and witches may go to who all have very deep pockets. So how did he acquire that plant at dirt-cheap? "
As she nodded and said," well I never knew that you would know about a place such as the black market and also have deep knowledge of high-level wizards and witches. As you have to explain it to me from where you got this much knowledge but that can wait. And to answer your question yes there are many high-level witches and wizards there and many go to the black market and auction houses to buy and sell things. And for the second one, we are rich." As I asked," that's it." And she said," yea that's it."
And then we went to the study room and then sat down opposite each other as she said," well for today your free time as I'm going to do some more research. So you can do whatever you want."
But after hearing her I nodded at her and got up and walked out. But as I was about to exit the room she said," Alex this might be much as you are already doing many things but have you heard about the term 'Ancient Runes'."
As I heard her I stopped and turned and walked inside the room and said," I am not aware of such a term grandma." As I sat back on the chair.
Grandma nodded her head and said," That's to be expected as there is no mention of any of it in the books I gave you up till now. A short introduction to Ancient Runes is that 'it is a form of writing which wizards and witches used hundreds of years ago.' But that's not all they do at that time the runes were also used by the magical societies to perform magic and rituals and in many more types of things such as enchanting, potion-making, and even used in nurturing the magical plants, herbs, and fungi.
But now in modern magical societies, we can rarely see the application of various runes." Grandma then stopped explaining and gesturing toward the bookshelf and some books flew towards us, and then those books gently and neatly landed on the table, and then grandma said," these are some books on the topic you can get more familiar with the subject by reading them and then we will get into more complex terms if you were able to acquire enough knowledge about the said things inside the books. As one said the more you pursue knowledge about something the more you will be fascinated and interested in it. So hurry along."
And I looked at her and then the books and with a sigh, I got up and took the books and started walking out of the study. But after thinking something I stopped then turned toward grandma and said," grandma it may be rude or something not that I understand why I suddenly felt like this but you both are giving me time and knowledge and also helping me to understand the wizarding world and I'm grateful for all that but lately, I sort of felt like you guys are how should I say this... Short on time or something."
And as I was saying all this I didn't notice but there was a slight tension on her face and her eyes flickered before she could say anything a voice came from behind me and said," well you are right about what you're feeling. And you're right about us rushing you. And even then you're keeping up with your studies which is excellent for your age. So we became somewhat greedy and started raising the bar we had already set for your learning. And that's why you are feeling that we and rushing."
And I also after listening about it from grandpa sort of got the idea and nodded. I raised my hand and waved at them and said," well then adios guys. I'm going to read these new books." And I left them in the study as I skipped to my room.
I entered my room and closed the door behind me pulled the chair and placed the books on the table. I chose the book which was on top of it. It had a very normal description ' Ancient runes made easy' which I think was also the basic curriculum for the third year at Hogwarts. I opened the book and began reading it.
Back in the study, two people were sitting and looking at each other with a pained expression. And after a while, the man said," well if nothing he is perceptive of the things around him." And the woman nodded then said," you are right about that. I think we should tell him." And the man looked back at her and said," I don't think we should drag him into our troubles no matter how smart he is or how perceptive he is of his surroundings. He is still a little boy. I think and firmly believe that we should let him live his life free of worries."
And after listening to Richards's words Mary also complied but then she said," even if we don't tell him the whole ordeal I can tell him and want to educate him more about the hidden dangers of the wizarding world. But after considering your words I will tell him when he is older and more mature than he is." And Richard said," that would be good. I think."

Three people were standing in front of a big building. They entered the building and walked toward the main entrance and entered.
Once they entered the building there stood a lady who was quite young wearing a full shirt tucked in a floral long skirt with a gentle smile she moved towards us and said," Good morning my name is Rosey Marietta and you will be Mr. and Mrs. Maximilian."
Then father stepped forward and said," Yes that will be us." As she smiled again and nodded then she looked at me and said," All the paperwork is already done so I will take you straight to the principal's office and then Alexander can start his studies from today onwards."
But I then corrected her," Excuse me ma'am Alex would suffice." And she looked at me and then at my parents and after receiving approval she said," Alex then. We should hurry then as it's your first day and you should be excited to meet your new classmates and study together."
I was not as excited as she made it to be but I can't say that out loud and just smiled at her and nodded and then we went straight to the principal's office.
After climbing a herd of stairs we reached the floor on which the principal's office was and after some more walking we reached and stood in front of the door Ms. Marietta knocked on the door twice and entered and we also entered after her.
She went straight to the principal's desk and sat down on the chair which belonged to the principal.
As I watched and was somewhat taken aback by her suddenness and looked at my parents to discern something but they were also very chill about it and then sat on their respective chairs which were for visitors. And I also composed myself and sat on the third chair.
Then my mother said to Ms. Marietta," How have you been Rosey?"
And I was once again shocked by her wording. And I also heard a reply too from the other side of the table. " I'm fine Sophia. But I never thought I would hear from you and that also about your son's admission into my institution. And here I thought you both were going to spend the rest of your retirement in that house of yours and funding your friends and colleagues' business."
And they talked and laughed and about some other things. And I on the side looked at both of them stupidly.
And thank magic that father tapped Mother's shoulder which signaled them to stop talking as she looked at me apologetically and said," sorry Alex. But It was bound to happen as I and your headmistress are friends from back when we worked and it has been many years that we sat talked to each other."
And I hurriedly came out of my stupor and said," no, it's okay. I understand. "
Then Ms. Marietta said," Oh my look at the time we should hurry up as it's Alex's first day at school." And mother said," yes we should as it's already been a month and a half since the curriculum started."
And then we hurriedly collected the documents and then I waved at my mother and father as Ms. Marietta and I went to my new classroom.
She stopped outside the door and knocked then opened the door and entered the room and I tagged along with her. And like every school all students stood up and in a sing-song way said," GOOD MORNING PRINCIPAL MAAM~." And she looked at them with a sweet smile and said," Good morning children please take your seats." And they sat down.
I stood beside her as she addressed the teacher," Mr. Grint I have a new student as I have informed you about please take care of him."
As he looked at me with a straight face and then turned towards his class and said," Students we have a new student with us." Then he looked at me and said," Please introduce yourself to the class but keep it short."
And I nodded and said," Hello and Good Morning my name is Alexandra Maximilian. But you can call me Alex."
After that, I looked at Mr. Grint, and he said," well now that that's out of the way where will you sit. Yes, you can sit behind Dudley that one is empty."
And once again I was taken aback as I heard the name and then I traced the path pointed by Mr. Grint's finger. And there sat a plump boy with a round face with neatly combed blond hair. Looked at the teacher with his blue eyes.
I then nodded and went to sit in my given place and the class continued.
After four classes it was lunch time and all the students in the school went to the cafeteria/mess/canteen. Well, it felt weird to be in between a herd of starving students going to have a meal. I also went to have a meal as I asked my mother to let me experience it. As in my last school (which I burned down) there was no such thing and everyone brought their lunch.
After getting what was available I looked around for an empty table and after finding one I went and sat down and started eating my meal. Well, I never expected what was about to happen to me as I leisurely enjoyed my meal I heard someone say," hey new kid." And I looked up from my meal and sort of cringed at the sight of some kids walking towards my table and then standing in front of my table.
As I said," Yes what can I do for you." And I was praying in my mind that he doesn't say any more cringe words but then he said," you are new so I will be lenient with you as it's your first day and I'm in a good mood and also you don't know how things go here. So get up from there and go find someplace else to finish your lunch. "
I started back thinking about the time when I was a kid as it was a long time ago. I thought ' did I do those things as well.'
But my thoughts were interrupted as the boy on the left to the boy who talked first said," didn't you hear him are deaf move or else...." And I looked at him then the boy in front of and then I said," School rule book page thirteen second para rule twenty everything inside the school belongs to the school which also covers these tables and chairs in the cafeteria/mess/canteen (pick any one you like guys cause I don't know which is the correct word to use in British school or if they even have these things at schools). Rule twenty-one is no bullying, fighting, or grieving on the school campus. Should I go on if you want to use force as the cameras here are watching us all?"
And they did look around them as they looked at each wall in the room there were two cameras. One of which looked left and the other right. And bully 1 was quick in his thinking as he said," It's okay you can sit here it's not a problem until we are inside the school as all things inside the school belong to the school. And you can use it how you like we will sit somewhere else."
And I said," thank you for your understanding." And I turned back to my meal with a polite smile on my face and started eating again. But I listened and got the underlying meaning of his words which he said. Quite clever and cunning he can be a good Slytherin seedling but I don't think he is a ' magical'. Well, who am I to judge I didn't meet any other magical children, for an extended period to figure out the intricacies of magic in magical children.
After lunch was over I walked back to my class and sat back down at my place. This class was for art and craft and the teacher was Ms. Lola. Fun class.
Back home and after completing my homework I came down from my room and sat on the sofa close to my mother as she watched a dance show ( I don't know if there was any at that time. Inform me if there were any.) She looked at me and said," how was your first day at school. "
And I said plainly," it was good." Noticing my tone she asked," something happened." And I said," kids problem nothing important." And she looked at me with big eyes then relaxed and said," if you say so. Tell me if you have any problems at school or if anyone bullies you."
And I nodded at her words but then I asked," so what's in the dessert for today." And mother looked at me and said," now that you asked I haven't prepared something for dessert. What would you like to have today? "
I thought about it for some minutes (we should at least give it some as there are many varieties) and then I said," I know what we will do today mother." And she asked," okay tell me."
Then I said," how about chocolate mousse." And she said," I think we have the ingredients."
And then we went to the kitchen and searched for some time and gathered all of it on the kitchen counter. Then my mother said," we have some of the ingredients. But we can't make it as there are no eggs in the fridge."
And I started to think again and after some time I said," how about we make it eggless." And my mother said," well we can. Let's do it then."
And I said," the chocolate mother-son duo are back." And laughed at my words and said," okay then you go and boil some water for me to melt the chocolate faster." As I saluted and said," aye aye captain."
And then I helped my mother in the kitchen however I can with my little hand and small body which cannot reach the high cabinet. Sheesh, I want to grow up so badly sometimes.

Hello, all I know I'm late. ahem very late in posting the chapter(s). Some major problems are going on in my life and with my family.
