It's been close to a solid four days of spending every waking moment together, after spending endless afternoons studying together and Iona knows that they're dating and that they're meant to do stuff together but sometimes it becomes a bit too much. Since Ray went away with his family and Daniel is spending every moment he has with Rachel, it's been a lot more one-on-one time between Iona and Jesse. I'm not saying that she doesn't like spending time with just him, she's not saying that either, but sometimes it's nice to have a break away from him. And right now she needs some time on her own for a while.
This is why she's decided to take a weekend and go away with Nicole. They haven't seen each nearly enough lately and Iona misses her. Iona's packing her bag for the weekend when her mom comes into her room and sits down on her bed.
"Hey Sweetheart, how are you feeling?"
