Eric was working in the company, but he kept frowning his brows. The thought that Emily was dating Samuel annoyed him so much. He wanted to deny the news, but when he remembered how the two acted like lovers at the director's party, he could not help but swallow the bitter pill.
"I thought she was such a capable woman," Eric was irritated. This was the effect the person who spread the rumour wanted. After all, once news gets out that Samuel and Emily are dating, people will assume that the Sky group only cooperated with her because of this and not because project nabot was good.

"Come in," Eric looked at the door. Grey walked into the office holding a fill.
"What do you want?" Eric asked.
"you need to sign the proposal from the development department," Greg replied. He quietly dropped the file on Eric's table. He has worked long enough to know that Eric was not in a good mood.
Eric looked at the document; after scheming it, he sighed." Here " Eric returned the file to Greg.
" Sir, we received inside information that Sky group intends to buy project Nabot from Steam," Greg said. He was unwilling to deliver this kind of news to his boss when he was in a bad mood but knew he would only create problems for himself if he reported too late.
" What, " Eric was shocked; he understood that project Nabot had good potential. So why would Emily be willing to sell it? He had not expected this outcome, so he had bothered to spread rumours about the project being problematic, hoping that Emily would be frustrated.
Eric was confident that Sky group would never take back their words; he did not just expect them to settle for such a solution; after all, the success of this project was essential to Steam's establishing their stand in the industry.
"Our spy in Sky group brought the news, together with the fact that Mr Sky and Emily seem to be dating. This news is all over Sky group, but I don't think the relationship is serious; it should be for the benefit," Greg said. To him, since the relationship was out of benefit, Emily and Samuel will fall apart once there is no benefit.
" investigate the source of the news," Eric was not stupid enough to believe whatever he was told. It would make sense if the Sky group supported Steam to take Revenge, but a mutual relationship of Benefits, the more he thought about it, the more he doubted this reason in his heart. Steam was just a tiny company; what could it offer Sky group?

"someone? Who?" Eric asked. He always had the feeling that Emily had a lot of secrets. There was mystery around her.
"I don't know," Jin replied.
"then investigate," Eric barked, disappointed at this answer.
"Boss, the other party, is careful; I am not sure if the person is trying to hide from Miss White or he knows we are watching her," Jin explained bitterly.
"Then set a trap. Do I need to teach you how to do your Job?" Eric was annoyed.
"Boss," Jin was surprised by his boss's reaction. He felt that the matter of someone protecting Emily was personal, so he did not dig in too deep. Besides, a person who could hide from him was not simple; he would instead not draw their attention.
"Are you a fool? If I have to teach you how to do your damn job, then I don't see why I pay you so much," Eric hung up the call after speaking. He knew he was overreacting, but he was irritated.
He wondered if the person protecting Emily was one of her admirers. He could not stand the thought of her being with another man.
" Crazy " Eric did not understand his actions. "I dont like her; this is just for the company," he tried to convince himself. Eric took a deep breath. It had been more than a month since they met in front of the Elevator, but he could not get the encounter out of his mind.
*Ring *ring his phone rang while he was still trying to calm himself his phone rang.
"Speak," Eric picked up the call when he saw it was from the manager of sunlight entertainment.
"Sir, Daystar seems to have a new investor, who supports its current CEO," the Manger said. His voice was low. He knew that Eric hated it when he did not get desired results.
"What do you mean? I asked you to keep an eye on that man and stop investors from meeting him. How did you miss such a person?" Eric's voice was icy.
The manager took a sharp breath. He indeed had his eyes on the CEO. He did not know when the man met with the investor. He only found out about this development during the stakeholders' meeting.
" I did; I ensure to spread the news of ABM, wanting daystar, I did not think there was someone not scared of becoming enemies with ABM," the manager could only bite the bullet and pushed the blame to the investor. He wanted Eric to make a move himself. Maybe the investors did not take his words seriously.
" is that so? Who dared to go against ABM? " Eric asked. He was indeed looking for an avenue to release his frustration.
