The Next Day many people on social media were talking about the managers that lost their jobs in Steam. Many people curse the company for being too heartless. They did not pay much attention to the story and just cursed steam.
A few people did not even read the story and started spreading the news that Steam's new CEO had a mental issue; otherwise, why would she fire and send people packing without explanation.
The few people who read and thought that the managers brought the problem upon themselves were scolded. In a situation like this, everyone will stand on high moral ground. Even if they were reprimanded so severely, they did not mind; after all, everyone could be led by the nose by a one-sided online story.
Those who sought moral justice and humanity felt that steam was wrong; even if the managers lose their jobs, they should be given time to move out of the company house. They refused to care about what happened and insisted that Steam CEO should be sued for sending a family parking without prior information of three months as stated by the law.
A few law firms seeking attention immediately step forward to accept the case at no cost. As expected, as soon as they made the statement, they were praised to the high heavens. Some of these law firms did not really mean to stand up for the managers. They were taking advantage of the situation to promote their firm. A few also spoke up, hoping that when Steam decided to suppress the news, the company would send them gifts to shut them up.
Things were heating up online,e but there was no response from Steam, not even an answer to those who went over to ask questions. Some more active customers recorded a video of destroying steam products they used.
They could not return the goods; after all, there was nothing wrong with it. By afternoon this trend was popular. Yet, not everyone could afford to break their phones or other gadgets; steam product was not so cheap and was not readily available in the market.
"Why should I break my phone when it works perfectly fine? People should remember that if Steam folds up the way you clamour, more families will become jobless and homeless," the brand spokesman for the steam phones could not stay still and posted on her official handle.
A few Internet armies wanted to shame her, but her statement was true while fighting for justice for three people, is it fair to sacrifice hundreds of people? Of course not. Since this was the case, the trend of destroying gadgets already owned became less popular. Even with all this clamour, Steam remained silent. This irritated many people, and they began to fuel the fire; this time, they attacked the new CEO.
It was said that Steam was doing fine until her return; nobody believed in her ability anyway. She was the daughter of a wealthy man. Losing money and starting a company was as easy as the snap of her finger. People were even sympathetic to the excellent workers under her.
At this time, Emily was still in her office, working as though nothing had happened. No one in the company dared to gossip or idle around. They all took their jobs seriously; after all, they needed their careers to earn money.

Emily looked at the caller ID and bit her bottom lips. She knew that Jude would call her and ask what was going on.
"Uncle Robert," her voice was very calm.
"Why don't we start an entertainment company instead? You seem to like the news so much," Jude said when he heard her voice. He was so angry that his head hurt. His young miss had not grown up as he thought. She was still doing things on impulse.
"Uncle Robert, that would not be a bad idea; I heard that sunlight under ABM has been giving Daystar a hard time. How about we help Daystar? An enemy of an enemy is my friend," Emily replied seriously. She knew that Jude was angry, but she could only play ignorant.
"You..." Jude bit his tongue to hold back his curse; he wondered why the Williams were so unlucky that it was the ignorant miss that survived the tragedy.
"Uncle Rob, this is just bassless news; I promise I will clean up the mess by tomorrow. If I do not do this, how will I get the respect of my workers? They all look down on me, and that Mr Adams and co dare to face me head-on. Since when did the White become so cheap that even an employee can low down on," Emily stopped joking around, seeing Jude was about to faint with anger.
"I don't care why you fire people; what about the house? It would be best if you had given them time to move out their family is innocent," Jude calmed down.
"I know nothing about their families; I only employed them. More so, I did not fire them; they quit; should they not quit my house too? They did not give the company three months' prior notice as stated by our contract; what choice do they leave me? I have skilled workers coming to take their position next week, and the house needs to be renovated. So my employees are supposed to stay homeless after coming into the company while outsider stays in our house? That is glory Estate even if there are a few vacant buildings the company can not afford," Emily explains.
Jude calms down hearing her explanation. He knew that she already had everything planned out. Glory Estate was not very expensive, she did not lack the bit of money to buy new houses as a William, but she could not spend that amount as Emily White.
"Clear it up already; there is no need to allow such news online. It Benefits the company nothing," Jude said.
"Uh.. It's free publicity," Emily joked,d but the real reason she left the news was to tempt ABM. She hoped they would come out as the hero to save the day. Unfortunately, it seems that will not happen.
"Uncle Robert, I am serious about DayStar," Emily said before the man could hang up the phone.
"I will make the arrangement," Jude replied and hung up. He was satisfied with her plans and forgot all his grievances when he made the call.
