"President, I think we should employ those three, they have a little talent, and we can learn some inside information," Mr Jin came over after investigating the entire situation.
"No," Eric shook his head. He was not stupid; Steam had not said anything since the news last night. There were two options. One, Steam was overwhelmed, and they did not know how ro fight back. Two, they had a good countermeasure. Eric felt that it was the second after his first encounter with Emily; he did not dare underestimate her, at least he put Gabriel into consideration.
"Boss, we would also make a good name for ourselves by doing this," Mr Jin tried to convince him. To him, it was an excellent opportunity to show off their good for sight.
" No, you can give them some money and buy whatever information they have; I will not employ a person who does not understand simple work ethics like 'respect your Boss," Eric's voice was final. Mr Jin did not dare say another word.

"Good" after this reply, Eric hang up the phone. He knew the decision this time was very risky, but he did not dare allow Steam to grow. The more the company stand, the harder it will be for him to cut it off in the future.
He felt a little guilty at the corner of his heart; somehow, the image of a woman he met at the entrance of the restaurant sometimes ago played in his mind.
"She has nothing to do with me," Eric tried to suppress the thought. He did not know why or how, but he could tell that Emily moved his heart, but he was unwilling ro pay attention to whatever feeling he was having for her.

Emily was just about to take a bathroom break from work when her phone rang.
"Mr Sky," Emily raised her brows. She had not expected to receive a call from him. She had a bad feeling in her heart, but she swallowed it and picked up the call.
"Good Day, Mr Sky," her voice was firm and professional as usual.
"Ms White," there was a pause on the other side. He seems to have something to say.
"Is there a problem?" Emily could not stand the suspense, so she asked.
"It's like this; I want to cancel the partnership between our companies," Mr Sky said. He felt regretful for doing this, but his family's reputation mattered to him more than making money.
Emily took a deep breath; she could not say she did not expect this outcome. She did not just expect it to be so soon. "Is there something wrong with the project or contract?" Emily asked. She had a good impression of Mr Sky, so she felt he would not make things difficult for her for no reason.
"There is nothing wrong with the project or contract. This decision was made for personal reasons, and I apologise," Mr Sky said. He liked the young lady, and he knew that his decision to pull out at this point would affect her company a lot, so he did not hesitate to apologise.
" it's okay, " Emily replied. She had calmed down after hearing his answer.
" Since things are like this, the company will send you the agreed compensation," Mr sky said. He knew the money involved was not small, but for his family, he was willing to spend it.
" Okay, " Emily did not mean to stop him. Her head was already calculating a countermeasure to the situation on ground.

She already shot herself in the foot when she praised ABM for their high standards; if Sky group back out, it would only mean that there was something wrong with the project. If this situation would only affect project nabot, Emily would not mind. She could take the money from Sky group and fund other projects, but knowing ABM, they will surely use this situation to discredit all Steam products. So her best bet was to sell off the project to a Sky group. As long as Sky group are willing, Steam products will not be affected; they will only lose a bit of profit.
"This..." Mr Sky did not know how to answer. ABM had threatened him to cancel the cooperation if he went ahead and bought the project. Would it not anger them to the point of fulfilling their threat.
"you said it yourself; project nabot will be successful. You also said that you did not cancel the contract because something was wrong with the project, but for personal issues, if that's the case, I am willing to sell; you do not have to pay the total amount now. If you cancel, then Steam will be hurt badly, " Emily did not give him the chance to speak, seeing that he wanted to reject her.
" Ms White, this is not convenient; I apologise, " Mr Sky could understand the pressure that his news had brought, but he could not do anything to help her.
" I know ABM found you to cancel the contract; since you think highly of the project, they must have threatened you with something, so I ask you first to announce the news of the cancellation of our partnership. Then after you have collected evidence, we can release the announcement of the buy-over, " Emily explained the plan on her head to him. Mr Sky paused and did not reject her immediately; after all, her idea was very workable; as a businessman, he definitely cared about profits. Paying the cooperation for the break of the contract was a loss of money, but if he followed her plans, he might be able to recover and make some profit.
