Mandy's Diary Today
Very nice. Now Ian has started to actively work after some time disappeared like swallowed by the Bermuda triangle. So I had to go into his office to sort out the schedules or everything we stayed. When I set foot on the office floor, Candice's voice was the first I heard, so high that it felt like a crow stabbing my ears.
"My baby!" she shouted, then rushed over to me and hugged me. "I'm sorry I couldn't give you any celebration yesterday." Letting go of her arms, Candice made a sad face. "You know, right? I have so much work to do here that even my time with Nik has to be cut short."
The first time Candice missed my birthday. Even though it was only Justin who surprised me, at least I was happy. Yesterday was the loneliest birthday ever. But even so, I will not protest much if Justin alone can give me a sweet surprise.
