Chapter 7 - 7. Lolita the witch failed

"Volare!" said Lolita complete with magic equipment. Tonight Lolita was like a real magician making Yuri feel a little intimidated. The boy peeked through the keyhole making himself feel surprised because Lolita was actually practicing magic. "That crazy brat, what is she doing on a night like this in that magic uniform? Gosh, don't tell me she's learning magic to beat me. It's not good because she stole the starting line!" Yuri hissed still watching Lolita from behind the keyhole.

However, Yuri was about to laugh when the thing Lolita ordered to fly never flew away. Even though Yuri was sure Lolita was practicing while reading the magic book her mother had given her. Yes, Yuri had heard that Lolita was proud of the magic textbooks that her mother gave to some friends at the Hankey Pankey dormitory.

"She wanted to steal the start, of course he couldn't. Learning to do magic just by reading a book is not an easy thing and can be applied quickly. In that case, no one will enter the dormitory if magic can only be learned through books," Yuri said quietly with a scornful tone.

Yuri was relieved that Lolita couldn't learn magic with just her proud book. However, when Yuri was about to return to his room which was not far from Lolita's room, he saw Professor Pilius who was already staring at him then Professor Pilius peeked at Lolita from the doorway imitating Yuri's actions.

"Ah, apparently the little girl hasn't slept either." Professor Pilius looked back at Yuri as if to ask what was he doing in the dark alley? "What are you doing here, Yuri? Don't say that you want to prank the girl," said Professor Pilius making Yuri shake her head quickly. He didn't want Professor Pilius to be accused of anything.

"I'm not here to tease her, I heard a loud noise from room number thirteen. I thought she was causing trouble again, but it seems Lolita is annoyed that she can't bewitch her broom to fly. She learned from the magic book her mother gave her." Yuri said that seriously. Professor Pilius couldn't believe it either that Lolita was trying so hard to learn magic from a spell book. It seems impossible if you just say it without knowing the trick.

"How is it possible to learn only with spells in books? Magic also has tricks besides spells," said Professor Pilius who was also surprised as to why Lolita insisted on studying on her own when it was very clear that she was at Hankey Pankey Academy where she would learn a lot of things there and meet newbie friends as well to become a reliable magician. "As expected, it's because Lolita wants to fight me faster and she can't wait for your lessons," said Yuri who felt very sorry for Lolita because the girl was studying in vain like tomorrow never existed.

Professor Pilius was really feeling very confused by this group of new students whose actions were so unpredictable. "Go back to your room, I give you leniency this time and there is no punishment for you for leaving the room." Professor Pilius said that and ordered Yuri to return to his room. Yuri nodded then left in front of the professor, he saw the old man also left Lolita's room. Tonight Yuri felt unable to sleep because he was still so afraid of Lolita who seemed really ambitious to eliminate her to study this late just to fight with her. Yuri turned right and turned left several times, but Yuri didn't have a comfortable position. He wanted to go out, but was afraid that Professor Pilius would see him again and this time he might be punished and this of course embarrassed himself because Lolita must have had a reason to humble herself.

"That little girl shouldn't be here, what is she afraid of, huh?" Yuri muttered, feeling confused and determined to find Lolita's fears so she could make the key to conquering Lolita. The noises from room number thirteen had started to subside and now the dormitory was really very quiet making Yuri feel comfortable with the atmosphere.

"That girl must be very tired because the broom she sent to fly didn't fly too," Yuri said laughing at the thought of Lolita crying loudly in her dorm room. Sleep took a long time, everyone was asleep including Yuri. It was already one o'clock in the morning however, Professor Pilius was still at his desk opening some of the books he had created with magic. These books were never sold anywhere in the human hemisphere, only available in the wizarding world. If there is a magician who wants to get out of the wizarding world then the book will disappear.

"This picture book will definitely make it easier for them to understand about the wizarding world and its spells," said Professor Pilius looking at some of the textbooks he was going to share with his twenty-two students and Professor Pilius seeing that they were all very good and would be easy to understand. The old fingers finally closed the books and then got up from his desk. In the morning, Professor Pilius will start lessons about the wizarding world to his new students and the new semester will soon begin. "I pray that they don't do things that are beyond common sense, I'm sure they don't," said Professor Pilius with a smile on his face although it was undeniable that Professor Pilius was very nervous about his first class.

It's just the beginning, it feels like the three children who are the culprits have made Hankey Pankey's school life so complicated. If in a normal human school, children at the same age as Alby, Yuri and Lolita are playing with each other. However, in contrast to those who were rivals from an early age, even learning magic just to fight against each other.

"I'm sure they have enough brains to think and don't bother me on the first day of a new lesson," said Professor Pilius, wiping the sweat off his forehead. However, as the Professor leaves the principal's office, a girl enters the room without Professor Pilius knowing. The girl smirked then looked around Professor Pilius' room. Since the first time she entered, Lolita wanted to enter Professor Pilius's room not because of the beauty of the room, but because of the beauty of the room, Lolita was sure that there was a very complete magic tool. However, when Lolita was busy opening the drawer and checking it, there was the sound of footsteps near the door of the principal's office.
