Chapter 4 -  Looking for Lia's Traces

The next day ...

Evan was getting ready for his morning walk. He decided to take a moment to tour the area where he lived, before starting a meeting the next day with his new client in the city.

Evan deliberately didn't wake Angga, because he was still annoyed with him. More importantly, Evan intends to find a girl named Lia. He has rather high prestige, whatever has been said to Angga, of course, will be carried out in any way.

Armed with a handkerchief and a known name, Evan walked along the street and began his search. Not to forget, he also wore a mask according to the advice of a girl named Lia.

The first place Evan visited was the location where he met Lia for the first time. More precisely, when Lia gave him a handkerchief. Maybe because it was still too early, the shop-houses that lined there were still closed. Feeling it was futile to force himself, he decided to find a food vendor for breakfast first.

---

Stevan Harshil Hemachandra is the young CEO of a family-owned company; namely, Galaxy Hemachandra Company which is engaged in retail. Can't imagine how prosperous his life is, right?

However, even so, Evan is not a cheerful person even though he has the highest position or was born from a wealthy family. His good nature comes from his late grandfather from Daddy's line who has taken care of him since childhood.

When compared to his brother and sister, the young man's character is very much different from his older brother who are more inclined to resemble his mother. They do have good personalities, but they seem to think more often about status differences between each other. You know, Evan's Mom never once lived to set foot on the ground because she was born like a princess who never felt deprived at all.

Evan didn't hesitate to eat at street vendors like he is now. His heartfelt happiness because he could talk a lot with the merchant and some of the people he met.

Perhaps, it is a form of release of fatigue from the daily life of the young man who continues to struggle with work and the bustle of metropolitan life. Such simplicity more or less can always remind Evan to be grateful.

That's the real Evan. However, it seems that many are deceived just by looking at the visuals. Evan is handsome, with a jaw that is so firm, and has clean white skin. Plus, thick eyebrows and very thick eyelashes successfully reinforce a strong personality.

Until when viewed with a glance, people who see will be stunned but also reluctant. Because of the contours of his face, it immediately implies a deep authority like a king.

---

"Soon, Mr. Here, the shop opens early in the morning. Beacuse if it late, I'm afraid that the sustenance will be on the chicken stake," explained the Mr. Chicken Porridge seller who is now sitting beside Evan to accompany him to eat after serving other buyers.

"I am amazed by his work ethic, Sir."

"Hehe, let the kitchen continue to steam, Son. Oh yeah, you're not from here, are you? Do you have a Jakarta accent?"

"That's right, Sir. I'm come from Jakarta."

"Wow, really people from the Capital. You are handsome, it makes you feel reluctant to talk. But it turned out to be friendly," said the porridge maker, to which Evan only smiled.

After filling full his stomach, Evan decided to take a stroll around the place. Not to forget, he also put his mask back on just in case. Fortunately, Evan's pollen allergy is still in the mild category. So, the day after taking the medicine and resting properly and properly, he was feeling better.

While he was busy walking around and occasionally taking pictures of the desired object, the ringing of the telephone distracted him.

Angga Bangke. That's the name of the contact listed. Evan rolled his eyes in laziness, but as a good friend, he accepted the call.

"HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING Mr. STEVAN HARSHIL? How could you leave me alone at home with starvation like this!"

The voice was high-pitched and almost deafened Evan's ears from so much. Deliberately, he kept his phone away so as not to damage his hearing. Knowing there was no more sound, Evan answered calmly.

"It's still too early, please lower your voice, O Lord Erlangga Damn Rahagi." Calmly but piercingly, Evan said that which instantly made his best friend vomit.

"WHY DON'T YOU WAKE UP ME, HELL? WOW... YOU SHOULD, VAN!"

"Can you lower your voice? There's a Fiesta Ready Meal in the fridge that you can eat. Just heat it in the Microwave."

"WHAT FOR BREAKFAST I ASK?"

"Chicken porridge." Evan lightly answered so. He did it on purpose to make Angga more upset.

"WOW, EVAN... HOW CAN YOU HAVE IT! DO YOU ONLY EAT CHICKEN porridge?!"

"Yeah, what if I'm the only one eating? I'm done. Don't be spoiled, you're disgusted! Don't call me if it's not important. I'm looking for a girl whose name is Lia. Bye!"

Before Angga had time to protest, Evan had turned off the phone. He laughed amused because he had successfully pranked his friend again. Evan could imagine how ugly Angga's face was when he was teased by him. And … he was very satisfied because he was able to repay his friend's annoyance!

Not long after, the shop-houses began to open one by one. Although he wasn't sure for sure, Evan was sure that the girl named Lia approached him from the flower stalls. However, he didn't know which stall he should interrogate first.

After waiting for a while, Evan approached one of the shophouses and had a short chat with the owner. Luckily he was already wearing a mask, so the pollen that might have been flying in the air didn't manage to bother his nose again.

---

"Lia?"

"Yes, Ma'am. Her name is Lia. Who owns a cut flower business."

"Ohhh Lia, yes-yes I know. Yesterday, it was just the flowers delivered here. Incidentally today I also ordered again. Maybe it will come soon," said the mother, which immediately made Evan's heart feel happy.

Finally, he decided to sit waiting for the girl named Lia on a long bench not far from his mother's stall. Then not long after, a girl who delivered flowers is coming.

Evan wondered, is that girl named Lia? And the question that floated in his mind, was immediately answered when the girl walked closer to him after getting a whisper from the stall mother. Evan reflexively stood up from his seat to greet the girl. But he hasn't taken off his mask yet.

"Bu Ninis said, are you looking for me? Who are you?" without the no-nonsense girl who suddenly surprised Evan.

For some reason, he felt something different from the girl in front of him. But that feeling was immediately covered by a sense of joy because he had managed to find a girl named Lia.

"Oh, is it true that your name is Lia?" Evan asked kindly.

"Hey, how do you know my name?" now the girl changed her dialect to be non-formal.

Before answering the question, Evan deliberately took off his mask to make it more comfortable. And with the intention that the girl does not feel uncomfortable talking to him.

Instantly the mouth of the girl who was said to be named Lia, gaped wide when she saw Evan's face as a whole. Suddenly his legs felt weak. Because only in his life had he witnessed a perfect sculpted figure that was so dazzling to the eyes.

"Oh my, Angel ..." muttered the girl incoherently, while covering her mouth because she couldn't believe what she saw.

"Let me introduce myself. I'm Evan. You're right whose name is Lia, right?"

The girl's soul had not yet been fully collected, so she didn't even hear the question that was asked by Evan. And because he didn't get a response, Evan waved his hands in front of the girl. Hopefully, what he did can make him come back to his senses.

"Eh, um… yeah, yeah you're right. My name ... my name is Lia." The girl stammered in reply.

"Ah, it's so nice to finally meet you again. I've been waiting here on purpose, to return the handkerchief you gave me yesterday."

Evan's explanation instantly made the girl's brow furrow. 'Handkerchief?' she whispered in his heart.

"Perhaps, if it wasn't for you... I would have suffered a lot yesterday," Evan continued, adding to the girl's confusion.

"Oh, sorry. Maybe I talk too much to make you feel confused. This is your handkerchief, it's been washed clean. Thank you."

Evan held out the object, which the girl accepted with a hesitant hand. And suddenly the girl's eyes widen when she saw it. Then strangely, a smile that could not be guessed its meaning painted on his lips. And in the next second, the look in his eyes had turned even more gleaming. No confusion or anything else.

"Oh, yes. Congratulations Evan. You're right, I'm Lia. The owner of this handkerchief."

"Ahhh, thank goodness. So, you are the girl I was looking for." Looking relieved, Evan smiled again which instantly made the girl named Lia die of style.

"Oh, okay. I didn't think I'd meet again, hehe," said the girl a little nervously.

"Hehe, emmm… are you busy?"

"Oh uh… No. I-I've finished delivering flowers."

"Wow, so it's true that you are a flower delivery girl. Very interesting. Then, can we talk a little longer?"
