Hearing that my sister was alive drove the urge to get to her quicker.
I wanted to see her. The fact that he told me she was alive and I heard her myself was something I couldn’t explain.
The pack house slowly came into view and I knew that I was getting closer, and closer to finding out what happened all those years ago.
“Are you okay?” Sonny’s voice pulled me from my thoughts, and I turned to face him.
“Yes...”
I knew my response was hesitant, but I really was okay... At least, I thought I was.
As we stepped into the clearing, Vincent came running towards us with a smile on his face.
“About f*cking time!” he said happily, giving Sonny a hug.
“What, you missed me? I thought you would enjoy being in charge.” Sonny chuckled.
Vincent laughed, and shook his head. “No fucking way, man. These women drive me crazy.”
“Well, I am glad to hear you think that,” a woman's voice scolded from behind him.
As we turned I saw the voice belonged to Claudia, and my heart almost stopped.
