Chapter 048 School Festival

The party did not continue as the police enter the scene. Jisoo gave her statement along with the other witnesses. The police officers took those that are unable to escape into custody, but of course, everyone knew that the authorities would not be able to hold on to these guys for long.
"I will drive you two to your houses…" Arthur offered when he noticed that Celene is a bit tipsy.
Jisoo did not say anything and just nodded her head.
She found this guy a bit attractive and amusing at the same time. It is clear that he likes her from the way he looks at her, but she did not know what to do or how she could reciprocate the feelings that the guy is showing her.
Although it is not a blatant attraction, she still feels awkward about it. But she likes talking to him.
Whenever the two of them talks about anything while he is driving, it made her feel at ease.
As she looks at the bright moon above the sky, she could not help but show a faint smile on her pretty face.
Arthur could not help but look at her lovely smile while squinting.
He could not help but suddenly lick his lips.
Then he noticed her looking at him.
As their eyes met, it seems that everything around them is inconsequential. They are in a world of their own.
Jisoo stretches her hand and then held the steering wheel as she slowly tugs it to the left.
"Watch where you are driving," she said playfully.
Arthur was startled as his eyes shifted to the road. He never expected to be tantalized by her beauty and his mind would suddenly be enraptured by her beauty.
"Damn… You're just too beautiful I guess." He muttered.
Hearing his words, Jisoo flushed red as she bits her lower lips and looks out of the car window.
Her shy expression made Arthur feel happy.
He did not expect that the pretty but strong woman also could feel embarrassed.
Soon the car arrives at Celene's house and Jisoo helped her inside.
The maid opened the door, and the mayor greeted Jisoo.
"Good evening Uncle!... I'm just dropping Celene…" Jisoo said as she princess-carried Celene to her room.
The stunned mayor just looks at Jisoo easily carrying his daughter up the second floor.
He then looks at Arthur who greeted him.
"How… How did she…" Mayor Tang wanted to ask.
But Arthur just shrugged his shoulder. Of course, he knew how she is able to do such a feat. In his knowledge, Jisoo is a strong master after all.
After tucking Celene to bed, Jisoo bade her farewell to the mayor and his wife and Arthur insisted to drive her to her home.
Jisoo did not reject the offer and soon the two began to talk casually inside the car.
She learned more about him, and he learned more about her. Their conversation is usually about themselves, what they like, their hobbies, and the like.
They did not talk about the past and only look forward to the future.
Soon, the car has arrived at the subdivision where Jisoo lives.
Arthur reluctantly looks at the back of that beautiful figure.
Then Jisoo looks back and smiled at him.
When their eyes met, both of their hearts seem to have throbbed.
It became a sleepless night for the both of them as they toss and turn on their beds. It was a first for Jisoo to feel such a thing towards the opposite sex.
She feels excited and amused at the same time.

The next day…
While having breakfast, Anne clings to Jisoo and her mother.
Then Jisoo told the two about her new job at the hospital. Anne and Sonya were once again astonished as to how Jisoo could do such a thing. When they learned that she is currently treating the mayor's wife, they showed a hint of worry in their eyes.
"Auntie… I will take care of the mayor's wife and I promise to introduce them to the both of you someday…" she promised.
The three snuggled on the couch while they watched the TV show early in the morning.
Jisoo truly likes the feeling of having a family. She likes Anne and her Aunt Sonya's company. She suddenly has the impulse of teaching Aunt Sonya about Reiki cultivation. But then she held herself as cultivating is not for everyone.
Some have the destiny to be deities while others could only remain normal and enter the cycle of reincarnation over and over until they realized the desire to be at the top.

"We don't have any class today mom… but we have a university festival tomorrow. So most students would be reporting tomorrow for the university festival…"
While Jisoo is in deep thought while cuddling with the two women, Anne suddenly remembers something.
"Ahh… Jisoo… Would you like to visit my school? I know you and mom will like the festival." Anne suddenly asked.
Jisoo thought for a while and then looks at Sonya.
"I'm too old for festivals… You girls should enjoy yourselves…" Sonya said with a smile.
"Alright… Oh, Auntie… You're going to buy some groceries tomorrow, right? Can you buy me these?" Jisoo suddenly said while showing a flyer to Sonya.
Anne also pointed at something and requested her mom to buy it.
Sonya could not help but pinch their cheeks and the three of them chuckled.
Jisoo is the one who is earning the money for the family now and it made her feel a bit embarrassed. However, whenever she remembers that day, she would subconsciously feel panic. Her heart would shiver and she would break down in tears.
She knew that she is not yet over that bad traumatic experience.

The Bright Moon university of Vie city is a big university and many of its students major in arts and the like.
Their graduates either work as media personnel, broadcasting, musicians, singers, composers, producers, and more.
So far, the school has produced two well-known TV personalities, and some C and D-list actors and actresses.
And because of this, most students in the university are excited to attend the university festival because the school would invite some of their alma maters to attend and grace the students with their presence.
According to the school forum, the student council and festival committee was able to invite some minor artists as guests. And they are also able to invite the famous drama director David Su.
David Su did not graduate from Bright Moon University. But he has a connection to the university and has received many of its graduates who worked with him in some of the series that he has produced.
And because of this, when he was invited by the university, he agreed since he has no current project anyway.
Everyone in the industry knows that David Su is not only a good director, but he could also be considered a good scout of talent.
According to the rumors, when he says that one has a talent for something, it is sure that the person is able to excel in that thing.
That is why many would always audition for his drama series or movies that he would direct.
Right now, many of the students are hoping that the famous director would be able to spot their talent and help them shoot up to stardom.
As of this moment, a middle-aged-looking man wearing a common button-down shirt and simple-looking jeans is walking around the campus.
He looks inconspicuous and some students even treated him like a school groundskeeper. The middle-aged man did mind this and continued his strolling.
Meanwhile, Anne and Jisoo have entered the campus and are walking arm locked while going from one booth after another.
The two enjoys their time as they participated in the festival.
Jisoo has attracted many eyes, but no one dares make their move as there are teachers roaming all over the ground coupled with many visitors.
Some have even mistaken her for an actress and asked for an autograph and a picture.
As a sect head, Jisoo would always write some poem whenever a junior would ask for her writing in the sect before.
So it becomes automatic for her to write a poem whenever someone would ask for her autograph.
Those that received her poem would look at her in delight and would bow to her courteously.
"What did she write?" asked one of the young female students to her friend after her friend got Jisoo to sign her notebook.
"Something good… I will laminate this and turn it into a bookmark... This something I want to treasure…" the friend of that female student said with a pleased expression.
"Hey, I think I want one too…" she suddenly said and turns towards Jisoo's direction however Jisoo is already gone.
At this time, Jisoo and Anne were suddenly interrupted by a classmate of Anne.
"Anne, we are in trouble… We need you now…" her classmate pleaded.
Anne could not help but look at Jisoo with a hesitant expression.
"Go, I'll be fine by myself…" Jisoo said.
Anne reluctantly leaves and Jisoo strolled around the campus alone.
Soon, she suddenly noticed a room without anyone inside.
Jisoo walks inside and when her eyes landed on a lone zither, she suddenly stopped… one nostalgic memory after another came crashing down in her mind, as she recalled something from the past.
She did not expect to remember something which she thought she has already forgotten.
At that time on a mountain peak, there stood a small hut. And in that small hut lives a man who likes to wear a white robe.
And that man is someone she seems to have forgotten at the back of her mind.
