Chapter 040 The Condition

Holy Maiden hospital 4th floor
Sung Jisoo and a few doctors are being led toward one of the private rooms. The private wards in the Holy Maiden hospital look like luxurious hotel rooms which usually accommodate the rich and the powerful.
So when the group is walking, they could see some black-suited bodyguards standing outside some of the doors.
Soon they stopped at one of the wards and took a peek inside.
"Who are you?" one of the guards asked in a stern voice.
Doctor Jin showed a faint smile on her face and then showed them her ID. When the guards saw the visiting doctor's ID they look at each other and nodded their heads.
After talking to his earpiece for a while, the door inside the room opened.
Holy Maiden's hospital director is a middle-aged doctor named Doctor John Law. He and Doctor Jin were colleagues before and became friends.
They would always communicate with each other especially when there are cases that they would be having a hard time dealing with.
He has contacted Doctor Jin before about the case of the patients in the hospital, but at that time she was helpless.
But now that she showed him something amazing, Hospital Director Law did not want to waste this chance to see it for himself.
As soon as he got the notice that the doctors are already outside, he quickly walked out and greeted them.
"Doctor Jin… welcome… Ah, Director Pan is also here!…" he suddenly said with a surprised tone.
The group began greeting each other while Sung Jisoo on the other hand tried to peek inside the room from the small glass panel of the door.
When she saw the two patients inside the room, Sung Jisoo was a bit flabbergasted. She knows who those two are.
She began to think about the pro and cons if she gets recognized. She knew that if those two reveals that they knew her then the effect of the treatment would be lessened and she might not even get the job.
She could easily wake those two up became it's her Reiki that is inhibiting their ability to move.
As she was thinking thus far, she decided to just pretend not to know the people inside while sending them a message through small sound vibration.
She quickly takes out her pen and tore a piece of paper from one of her notes, then began to scribble some runes on that piece of paper.
It only took her a few seconds to finish the set of runes.
She then folded the paper and kept it in her pocket.
The hospital director greeted her and Sung Jisoo just nodded her head and gave her a perfunctory greeting. She did not show an over-polite reaction like the other doctors with them and acted like Doctor Pan and Doctor Ji.
After the greetings, the hospital director led the group inside the ward.
As their group enters the ward, she immediately activated the rune.
At this time, the old man seems to have seen and noticed her, so she glares at him while sending him the sound vibration.
"If you want your son and grandson to be cured… pretend not to know me…" she warned.
The old man who is already standing and was about to say something stopped.
This time, the woman also noticed Sung Jisoo among the crowd and wanted to say something but noticed something weird. She is not a rash person and has already recovered her sanity so she calmly observed.
"Master Song… This is my friend Doctor Ji and her colleagues from Vie Doctor's hospital…" Hospital Director Law introduces while showing an enthusiastic smile on his face.
Aldus Song looks at Sung Jisoo and could not help but truly admire her beauty and astuteness. If only his grandson could have won such a woman, then he knew that his Song family would be able to progress greatly in the next generation.
He has already confirmed that she is no ordinary woman through the words of Master Ju.

Rosie on the side noticed that her father-in-law is pretending not to know the young woman which she has already recognized as Sung Jisoo, the one who did this to her husband and child. She began agitated and angry, but she gritted her teeth and reigned on her temper.

"Old Master Song, Madam Song… We are here to introduce to you this young doctor of our hospital. She will be the one to check the condition of your family. I hope that you can agree to this…" Doctor Ji asked for permission.
When Old man Song and Rosie Lee heard this, they suddenly have an idea of what is happening. How could they not agree to such a request when the woman that did this to the two, is the one whom the doctor is introducing.
"We have been asking for many experts… And no one can give us a definite answer. If she can cure them, then I am willing to fork out a large sum of money…" Aldus Song said with a calm expression on his wizened face.
Upon hearing this, the rest of the doctors in the room look at each other and then look at Sung Jisoo.
Sung Jisoo's sharp gaze landed on the old man which sent shivers running down his spine.
Seeing the old man's reaction, she could not help but heave a deep sigh and then looked at the other doctors.
She did not hesitate to walk to the side of the bed of Sullivan Song and put her finger off his wrists.
2 minutes later she lifted her hand and then looks at the rest of the doctors.
"Can I ask everyone except for the family members to go out…" she asked.
Everyone looks at each other with a frown.
"I just need to talk to them for a minute or two…" she added.
The doctors nodded their heads and walked out of the room.
When everyone is out, Jisoo turns her attention to the two in the room and gestures for them to sit on the sofa.
"I am just doing this because I wanted this job. You can just consider yourselves lucky…" she said then shifted her eyes to the two beds.
"If this happens again… I will make sure that you guys will not be in the hospital but at a cemetery… Do you understand…" she said as a strong killing aura erupted from her body.
The room turned quiet as Aldus Song and Rosie Lee suddenly held their heads as if in pain.
"Ye… Yes…" Aldus forces himself to say those words under strong pressure.
"Good…"
The pressure from Jisoo lifted and the two panted with fear in their eyes.
She stood up and gestured for the others to come back.
As Jisoo stood beside the two beds, she looks at the doctors and said.
"I will now start the treatment process…" she said but was suddenly interrupted by one of the doctors.
"Can… Can I record this for the documentation process?"
Jisoo nodded her head as she did not mind them recording it.
"Then I shall begin…" she said as she held her hand and removes her armband.
The armband was rolled on the side of the bed and everyone saw the rows of needles.
"The human body has complex nerves and systems which functioned systematically… but something inside the body particularly coming from the brain that we do not notice… It is a form of bioenergy that we cannot see… I call this energy Reiki." She began to explain.
"Now, the reason why the two patients are unconscious is because of these so-called Reiki, or I think some call this Qi or spirit energy…"
"If one is not skilled enough, they might find the presence of Reiki using instruments… like an X-ray machine…" Jisoo explained.
Upon hearing this, everyone showed suspicious looks on their face. This is true, especially for the Hospital Director who has also seen the X-ray images of the two and even their MRI and CT scans.
With a deep frown on his face, the hospital director wanted to ask something but his hand was held by Director Pan who shook his head.
"Now I will show you where the Reiki congestion is and will now dissipate it using these needles…"
Jisoo has read about this in the books and has seen the procedures in traditional medicine videos, so she is just copying it.
In fact, she did not want to do this, but for the sake of her precious Reiki, she is willing to do such a thing.
Ten minutes later…
Jisoo removes the needles from the body of Sullivan Song, as she has already removed the Reiki blocking his meridians.
Sullivan Song who has closed his eyes while in the procedure feels the warmth inside of his body. When the warmth slowly dissipates, he slowly opens his eyes and then found the doctors looking at him.
He suddenly shifted his gaze to the side to see his son, but to his surprise, the bed is not in there anymore.
He was suddenly filled with panic as he quickly sat up.
"Where… Where is Henry!" he called with a panic-stricken face.
Then he suddenly noticed the expressions of the doctors around him.
"Calm down… Henry is having a CT scan…" his father's familiar voice enters his ears.
When he heard this, he heaves a deep sigh.
"Master Song, please lay down for a bit… We need to check your condition…" The hospital director suddenly advised.
As he lies down, the other doctors quickly examined him.
Doctor Ji and the rest who doubted Sung Jisoo could not help but gawked at this situation. She did not expect that the woman could truly cure such a disease. Her feeling is a mixture of regret and excitement.
