Kassius: "What the hell?"
Arnold: "How did you-"
Man: "My name is Dor'al Dunya. Dor'al is what I'm usually referred to by."
Bonnie: "Am I the only one who's confused on how he appeared so close out of nowhere?"
Kaizen: "Not just you."
Dor'al: "Ah. She did mention this on the call. It seems you are all unfamiliar with who I am. Truth be told, I interact with far too many people to remember faces all that well either. Hmm... it seems Miss Ayana isn't here. That is most unfortunate."
Kassius: "Whoa. Slow down. You're moving way too quickly. Who are you and what do you want?"
Dor'al: "Unfortunately, you do not have the credentials to request who I am. However, I will tell you what I am here to do."
Kassius: "That's fine."
Dor'al: "By Miss Ayana's request, I have come to collect two people. Mister Clyde, and Miss Feela."
Clyde: "That's us."
Feela: "You know Ayana?"
Dor'al: "I do know her. She reached out to me recently. She also informed me that if she was not here, that I play this recording. She said this is meant for all of you to hear."
Dor'al pulls out his device, and scrolls to the voice message left by Ayana. He starts to play it.
(Voice message) Ayana: "I hope you all hear this. To Clyde and Feela, I've tried my best, all this time. I wanted to save you. And I finally have... but I don't think I'll be able to escape. But even though I'll be gone, I'm so happy... so Dor'al will take you guys to a safe place. I know you guys weren't noticed criminals, so I hope you can find your way around and live peacefully. Being a thief is overrated haha... but I just wanted to say I love you both. With all my heart. I used to always dream of all four of us living on the beach together... Jen... but whatever happens, please don't come save me."
Feela tearing up, starts to cry. Clyde holds her as he continues to listen in on the conversation.
(Voice message) Ayana: "To Kassius and his friends. I'm sorry for dragging you into my mess. You've helped me so much and I haven't repayed you. I can't bring you the diamond like I promised but I have an alternative. Those coordinates you mentioned back in the desert, I don't know how you found them, but they should lead you to my stash. You can have all that's in there. I know it's not the same, but it's all I have. The diamond will be traded tomorrow so there isn't a point in coming for it."
(Voice message) Bandit: "Ay! Hurry up with my phone!"
(Voice message) Ayana: "Alright, I have to go now. Please, don't come save me. I've chosen my path, and as long as he doesn't have you guys, I've won. If I don't make it to the station, forget about me."
The voice message cuts off.
Clyde: "Ayana..."
Dor'al: "That's all she's provided."
Kaizen: "The coordinates were hers all along? Wow."
Arnold: "What do you want to do, Kassius?"
Kaizen: "Should we go look for that sta-"
Kassius: "We're going for the diamond."
Clyde and Feela both get surprised by him, and his serious demeanor.
Clyde: "Are you deaf? She just asked us not to go save her."
Kassius: "And?"
Bonnie: "Even if we wanted to go, we have no clue where the black sand bandits are."
Kassius: "We don't. But they do."
He points at Clyde and Feela.
Clyde: "Is there something wrong with you?! Ayana sacrificed her life, and you're going to just throw it in the garbage?"
Feela: "Clyde, maybe-"
Clyde: "No, Feela. Even you don't want to remember that place... go back there... a part of me wants to, but even I know it deep down. I have no chance at saving her. Neither do you, or them. That's why we all ended up their prisoners. So going back to them, is just suicide. Besides, it's like she said. As long as we got away, she won."
Kassius: "Who said I was going back to save her?"
Clyde: "What?"
Kassius: "The deal was that we save you, and she helps us get the diamond. You're saved, but I see no diamond."
Clyde starts clenching his fist in anger.
Kassius: "She doesn't get to change the deal. This isn't a game to me. If she's given up, that's her choice. Not mine. She still has to meet her end."
Clyde: "You insensitive assh-"
Feela: "Stop! Stop, Clyde. Please."
Clyde: "Feela..."
Feela: "He's right. They saved us for her. We have to pay them back."
Feela walks up to Kassius.
Feela: "I'll take you to the diamond."
Clyde: "Feela, please."
Feela: "I'm shaking even at the thought of going back, but I can't leave Ayana to die. Not after all she's done. So I'll take you to the diamond, but you can't have Ayana's stuff."
Kassius: "That's fine."
Kassius reaches into his pocket and grabs the coordinates. He hands them to her and she holds on to them.
Feela: "I have another request. If I give you Ayana's stuff, will you help me save her?"
It catches them all by surprise, but Kassius smiles as she says it.
Kassius: "Hehe. I think that's a fair deal."
She hands him back the coordinates and he puts it in his pocket.
Dor'al: "I hate to impose, but this is slightly extending beyond usual times. Do you wish to leave with me?"
Feela: "I don't, sorry."
Dor'al: "And you?"
Clyde looks on, unsure of what to say. Eventually, he cools down and looks at Dor'al.
Clyde: "I don't."
Dor'al: "Then my job here is finished. Thank you all for your time."
He walks passed them all leaving the alley.
Dor'al: "And hopefully we do meet again, assuming you live."
Dor'al (in head): "Very interesting people."
Dor'al walks into the station.
Bonnie: "So he's just gone."
Arnold: "What made you change your mind?"
Clyde: "I... I can't leave Feela to do this alone. She's right. We can't let Ayana die for us. It's not right. I still think we don't have a chance, but it's better than doing nothing."
Kassius: "Well, time to make a plan, yeah?"
Kaizen: "She said to be here tomorrow. So the trade for the diamond can be anytime from now. Best chance we have for both is going right now."
Arnold: "What if they're expecting us? She might be alive and this could be bait."
Bonnie: "Isn't that better? If she's alive?"
Kassius: "Kinda. Just means they'll be more alert."
Arnold: "This time we don't know their numbers, so we do need to be very careful with how we approach this."
Kassius: "Oh yeah, so where is the base?"
Feela: "It's uhm... in the North West of the city."
Kassius: "Damn. Is it far North West?"
Clyde: "It's not a large city. It will probably take somewhat as long as it took us to get here."
Kassius: "Ah, OK. That's not too bad."
Arnold: "Tell us more about the base."
Feela: "It's..."
Clyde: "It's okay, if you don't want to I'll-"
Feela: "No, I'm fine. Uhm... It's an abandoned office building. It's gated, but not super tall. There's a basement as well."
Clyde: "The electrical box is located there too. Maybe we could do something with the lights."
Arnold: "Was there a generator?"
Clyde: "Not when we were there."
Arnold: "Hmm... then I think it's best if we split into two teams. One group causes the distraction with the lights, and the other heads inside to go for the other objectives."
Kassius: "That works."
Bonnie: "Wherever the fighting is, I'm going."
Kaizen: "I don't mind doing the distraction."
Feela: "I want to go save Ayana but I'm not strong, so I'm not sure I'll be too much help in a fight."
Arnold: "It's alright. If we free her, we'll have more manpower."
Clyde: "I know where the electrical box is, so I can help with the distraction."
Bonnie: "Alright, plan made. Let's go fight!"
Arnold: "Save your energy for the real enemies. Those people with the red and purple scarfs. We aren't trying to draw attention to ourselves from the beginning since they have the numbers."
Kassius: "Before we go, I need to do something. Is there a bathroom nearby?"
After looking around, the group finds the public bathrooms. After cleaning up, all of them step out and wait for Kassius. After a short while, he steps out, dressed back in his black suit and shoes.
Bonnie: "Haha! You and that suit, Kas."
Kassius: "What can I say? Alright, we can go now."
The group heads for the North West of Jahtan on foot. After walking for a while, nearing around 2AM, the group finally reach the area nearby.
Feela: "We're close. It's down this road."
After walking down a bit on a dimly lit dirt path, they finally find the abandoned office building.
Kaizen: "A bit of trees. Might be good for us, right?"
Arnold: "I can't see any cameras. And there's nobody guarding the entrance, or the basement car entrance either."
Kaizen: "You think they're expecting us?"
Arnold: "More than likely. Unfortunately we have no better plan. Just be very careful."
Kaizen: "I'll do my best. Let's go."
Clyde: "Be careful Feela."
Feela: "I will."
Kaizen and Clyde sneak by, and go into the basement from the car entrance. Inside the building on the 2nd floor, Henzo, Sandworm and Dune are in a big room with Ayana tied up in the back.
Sandworm: "Do you think they will come to save her?"
Henzo: "I'm not sure. But I hope they do. We'll stop them all for the boss."
On the 4th floor, Hamza waits alone on a chair in the hall before the big room at the back, facing the entrance to the staircase. As he sits, he looks up, while his phone shows footage of a girl in a hospital bed, unconscious. A lady and a man walk up to the girl.
(Footage) Man: "Hey, will he send more this month too?"
(Footage) Lady: "He said he would."
Hamza listening, continues to look up in a serious manner.
Finally, on the top floor (5th floor), Sado stays in the large room at the back, staring out the window that faces the opposite side of the building.
Sado: "All this is for you, my little spring..."
The lights cut out in the building. All floors go dark.
Arnold: "They're off. Let's go."
The other four jump in above the fence and sneak around to the back entrance. Over on the 1st floor, the bandits get rowdy.
Bandit 1: "Oy! Go check the lights! They're here, like the boss said."
Some stay, and others leave to go to the basement. On the 2nd floor, Ayana is surprised, as well as the other three.
Sandworm: "The boss was right."
Dune: "Ooooh. Should we go get them?"
Henzo: "You two stay here. I'll check the basement for what happened. Don't fail to stop whoever comes in here. And DON'T kill them. Like the boss said."
Henzo leaves the room and heads for the basement. On the 4th floor, Hamza looks around as the lights turn off but doesn't move. Finally, Sado unsurprised, sits on the couch in the back.
