Once on the battleship, the unknown SCP, the woman and four children, are separated into containment cells spaced apart from each other and not in direct line of sight to one another. This was done on the suggestion of both Dr. Clef and Rocky as the anomaly seemed only capable of manifesting while together. This was confirmed three hours later when the woman awoke and began shouting for her children. Dr. Clef and Rocky enter the area half an hour after this to conduct an interview of the woman.
"Where are my children?! Give me back my children!!" The distressed woman shouts at them.
"Why should we when you might attack us again?" Rocky asks.
"Attack? Me?! I did not attack anyone!" The woman rebuts.
Dr. Clef leans over to Rocky, whispering into his ear. "It is possible they were under Lucifer's control. It is not the first time an SCP has pleaded ignorance and been proven not hostile."
Rocky approaches the cell, cautiously eyeing the woman who appears to be of Native American descent, with jet black hair, and brown eyes.
"Are you aware of your anomalous abilities?" Rocky asks.
The woman falls to her knees and begins sobbing. "Please! I just want to know my babies are unharmed!"
Rocky kneels down. "Your children are safe and well, I promise. Answer my questions and all this will move along smoother."
The woman nods, her face covered by her hands. "I.. am aware."
"Are you familiar with a blonde-haired man calling himself Lucifer?" Dr. Clef asks.
The woman shakes her head.
"What is the nature of you and your children's anomalous ability?" Rocky asks.
The woman continues to sob without answering.
Rocky gets up and looks at Dr. Clef. "Open the cell."
Dr. Clef looks at him confused.
"We will have the truth quicker..." Rocky blinks, his eyes turning grey. "... if you open the cell."
Dr. Clef nods and swipes his key card on the cell lock. As it opens the woman leaps up and attempts to exit but runs into Rocky's aura.
"Did you think you would get out so easily?" Rocky asks, pushing her back slowly.
The woman beats on the invisible wall. "Let me have my children!"
Dr. Clef starts to follow Rocky inside, but Rocky holds out his hand.
"Your anomalous ability might keep her from attacking if she felt so inclined. We need to know what she is capable of."
Dr. Clef nods and steps back to a far wall.
Rocky then forces the woman onto a bed, located in the back of the cell. "You are going to answer my questions clearly and without further delay or I promise this will become increasingly unpleasant."
The woman glares at Rocky. "My children were born under a blood full moon. My people speak of four children born under the second full moon of a month, if the moon changes from blue to red they are to be killed. I fled with my children to save them from that fate. Little did I know we would share this anomalous bond."
"When did you first become aware of your abilities?" Rocky asks.
The woman grits her teeth and looks away. "When my people caught up to us five years later. They backed us into a corner and were preparing to kill us, but my children took hold of my limbs, and together we defended ourselves and fled." She looks up. "My children and I were defending ourselves, that is all! We do not seek out conflict!"
"So separated you five are completely normal?" Rocky asks.
The woman reluctantly shakes her head. "If even one of my children is nearby I can manifest their respective element into myself. However, alone my children and I are indeed harmless."
"Do you anticipate that form?" Rocky asks.
The woman nods. "My children have no control nor awareness of our anomaly. Even if I manifest one in front of another they do not seem to comprehend it. They just think I am holding the manifested one in my arms."
"It sounds like you are still on the run from something.. am I correct?" Dr. Clef asks.
The woman nods. "Where my people failed a cult picked up the pursuit and seeks to use us to their ends." She slides off the bed and onto her knees. "Please, sir, protect me and my children! I will do anything you ask!"
Rocky places his hand on her shoulder. "That is what the SCP Foundation does. We will definitely keep you and your children safe, provide you all food, shower, and bed."
The woman looks questioningly at him. "What must I do in return?"
Rocky looks back at Dr. Clef with a nervous expression.
"We do not require any form of reimbursement. We would just prefer you not to be hostile and cooperate with any interviews and tests." Dr. Clef answers.
"What manner of tests?" The woman asks.
"Typically it is just a record of anomalous abilities, phycological evaluations, and just follow up to make sure you are healthy." Dr. Clef answers.
The woman cracks a smile. "That sounds.. really great! But what is the downside?"
"From this moment forward you and your children will likely never have contact with the outside world again. Your life will be lived within the walls of the foundation." Dr. Clef says sadly.
The woman looks thoughtfully at the floor. "I suppose that is a small price to pay to ensure we are safe." She then shrugs. "Our anomalous ability might evolve as my children grow older.. they might become.. unmanageable."
Dr. Clef steps forward. "Am I correct in assuming you have met other anomalies before you gave birth?"
The woman glances up. "Their father was.. he was a shapeshifter. He often would take flight as a hawk.. That is actually how we first met."
Dr. Clef smiles. "Did he ever speak of a forest goddess with deer horns?"
The woman looks up questioningly. "Yes! Why?"
Dr. Clef steps forward again. "That was my wife. We actually had a beautiful baby girl. She lives at the foundation now."
"If.. you would ever allow me.. I would very much enjoy meeting her." The woman says.
Dr. Clef nods. "Just continue to be this cooperative and we will try to get to free roam privileges."
The questioning continues for another hour concerning dates of birth, names, and preferred dietary habits. They discover the woman's name is Mary and her children are Angela, Fredrick, William, and Edna. Apparently each of the first letters of their names corresponded with their respective elements. Likewise, the mother is 36 years old and her children currently 7 years old. Afterwhich, they reassure her the children are safe by letting her walk the corridor and look in on them. The children sleep soundly in their respective cells.
Returning her to her cell, the woman smiles. "Thank you, gentlemen. I apologize if we have caused any of you any problems."
Dr. Clef chuckles. "It is no problem, I assure you we have dealt with far worse."
"Like what?!" The woman asks questioningly.
"Mostly homicidal, borderline immortal entities." Rocky replies.
Having bid her Rocky and Dr. Clef walk back to the top deck.
"Do you think she is lying?" Rocky asks.
Dr. Clef shrugs. "If she is, there will be no escape from the foundation. However, I can tell you that woman does indeed love her children, as a mother should. As a parent, I would set fire to the world or even pull down the heavens if anyone harmed my daughter. I have no doubt she would do the same."
"In other words, we will be keeping extra surveillance on this one until she is proven Euclid, at best." Rocky comments.
"Exactly. We can never be too careful." Dr. Clef says. "Especially since she was under Lucifer's control, no matter how short that may have been."
