I walked out of the hotel and looked left and right to find Penelope when someone tapped on my shoulder, startling me. I turned back to find that it was Penelope standing behind me.
" Sorry if I scared you." Penelope apologized.
" It's okay. But you missed your chance to meet Mr. Xin. I gave him the invitation card and then he left." I said to her.
" Oh. Better luck next time." she said with a sad smile.
